rofl... I messed up my words

I got "timeout" sometimes. It just means that the server doesn't answer to your computer fast enough. You can try to reinstall Steam and your internet or perhaps (I don't know if it will work) you can go into the config.cfg files of your games and modify the value of "timeout" by a higher number (try 100 instead of 60). If this second solution fails then the servers' config have to be modified.

Ok thx. But if it's my graph card I fear I'll have those flush for many time til I got enough money to buy a new one...

Bullets of Assault Rifles and Sniper Rifles (and some submachines) can go trhough walls and kill you. I think it's not really a bug - it's kinda realsitic to see 7.62 caliber going through one wall. I've killed many people by shooting through a wall with my G3... I knew they were there so I shot... the thing is when you get hurt simply move - you'll avoid being kill.

I think it's strane that this happens to me only when I'm playing with Steam... nothing when playing D2 or just surfing... it's why I was thinking it could have a connection with Steam / the server. But maybe I should re-install everything... save if someone got the "miracle solution".

Last book I've read is the first book of Erin Hart : Haunted Ground. It's about a murder in Ireland and cops trying to find who's guilty. I was deceived, the solution is nearly evident (but perhaps I've read too much Agatha Christie's books) and the author is describing too many things... a little boring sometimes.If you like heroic fantasy I recommand you to read The Black Compagny, writen by Glenn Cook. 9 books for now, the five first are excellents. The 6th isn't very good, and the others are a little repetitive. But the five first... originals, very well writen, the characters are addictive and the story is really really good. and it's not a Tolkien-like heroic fantasy. And of course you have to read The Discworld of Terry Pratchet, Elric of Micheal Moorcock, Conan of Robert Howard etc. All the "classics" who are really good.If you like science fiction there is a French author who is really good : Michel Pagel. I don't know if his books are edited elsewhere than France, but you can have a look... of course you have to read Franck Herbert, Robert Heinlein and some others known authors.hum... perhaps I should stop there when someone chat with me of books and litterature...

For now something like 2 weeks, each time I play under Steam (FA or DoD or any other HL mod), after playing 5 minutes I got a cl_flushentitypacket : this sort of lag blocks me for few seconds and after I can play again (the game go on with me freezed). This is very annoying, and I don't know how to stop that. I've tried to disconnect my modem, running my computer, reconnect my modem and go back on the net but still flush... and only under Steam... so please help me ! If I can avoid reinstalling something it would be good.

Many times you can hear "aaaah damned be that camper !"... people accuse other players of camping but they don't know what camping is. Camping is having a tent, making some coffee, singing and dancing around a fire under the stars etc. Have you ever seen this in FA :?: no. It's not because someone is using a MG or a sniper and never moving that he is a camper.
