We don't have the server access we used to. We are limited as to which games we may run on our server. Gator was lucky enough to "Con" one of the techs to load FA up for us. It can be done but would require a tremedous amount of work for very few to enjoy from our server standpoint. We did this before and it was a mild sucess for a day or so. Then it all went away. Mac
  3. I can go prone with the G3 and do better than with the PKM. That is pretty bad.
  4. Don't know. PKM can be great then totally suck.
  5. Well have him spot you some reins the Las Vegas way.
  6. Did you try installing the game after Steam is installed? HL2 first.......? How many Hard drives and partitions do you have?
  7. Why don't you just duke it out on a FA map and settle it there? :D:D
  8. DONT GRAB ANY WEAPONS TILL THE PATCH COMES OUT. They will change/add new ones them and the good ones might not be so good after the patch.
  9. Ow Ow Ow. I know how you feel. I have been there over and over and over. Kinda Numb now at age 40. It will feel better in time but the hurt will stay for quite a while.
  10. You can play them after you use your CD key to activate them and download the rest from Steam. Same thing as if you were at a Friends house that just go a computer with fast internet. Install Steam and Download your stuff with your account.
  11. The Steam installer I use to do this is around 211mb.
  12. Now you will have to activate all the games you have not installed/registered by inputing the CD keys.
  13. Yeah But I have never been to India....... Let Steam do all the work. That is the beauty of Steam. If you loose the cd's. You have online content.
  14. http://www.compusa.com/products/product_info.asp?&ref=cj&pfp=cj&product_code=332499 Not a bad price after rebates and all.
  15. If you like Rebates....... A 24bit SB Live 7.1 for $10. I think you get free shipping over $50. http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2112030&cp=&kw=sound+blaster&parentPage=search
  16. Get 4 of these. $170 Amazon.com: Mission m30i 2-Way Bookshelf Speakers, Pair (Graphite Black): Electronics Get a Center Channel for say $100 Amazon.com: mission speakers - Electronics Get a good Subwoofer for say $300. You would be hard pressed to find a better deal and have better sound quality for under $600. A Sub is where you want to spend the money. To a certain point. The more you spend. The more you get.
  17. Thats what you call getting "Steamed"
  18. Oh it has all HL. HL1, HL2 etc etc? Wipe your comp clean again of HL. Search for Steam and delete any folder. Also goto start, run, type in regedit goto edit and find Type in Valve and search. Delete every Valve entry that you find. To search again hit F3. Once that is done. Download the HL2 Steam installer. All you are going to do is install Steam and then activate with your CD keys any game that you have. Yes you will have to download all game content but there is something wrong with your CDs/Comp/directories that I cannot tell without being there. That is unless you want to buy me a ticket to....... Where do you live at the moment? India? I am off of work till February 20th or so.
  19. 5 cd's. Please explain.
  20. Blue w/o any text but your name.
  21. The screenshot shows that doesn't it?
  22. I would uninstall HL2 and Steam. Then delete the Whole Steam folder. Defrag. Reboot and Reinstall HL2. Steam will take care of itself.
  23. Hmmmmmmm. Anyone. I would look into the Steam forums and see what they say.
  24. Thanks for the link and info.
