That's -exactly- it. Even switching my keyboard driver doesn't help much. I keep getting that exact same problem, and/or I continue shooting even when my finger is off the trigger button.

Using DSL.Incidentally, I discovered when I switched keyboard drivers the lag didn't get quite as bad. Still not entirely sure of the cause, however.

For some reason, my keyboard and mouse freeze up while I'm playing... I'll be moving in a direction and suddenly my keyboard becomes non-responsive from anywhere between 3-10 seconds, and then everything speeds by as it catches up to the commands I've entered. Needless to say, this sticking is getting me killed unnecessarily.I don't have Steam set up on my computer right now (it looks like too much of a headache for me to deal with right now). I'm going to tweak some settings, maybe switch a keyboard driver and see if that helps.If anyone could offer suggestions I'd be very appreciative.

my file differs from the servers', apparently. Where do I download the latest version if it was updated without my knowledge? I don't see it in any of the map packs, which I've all downloaded and installed.

Uh, yea, been hearing a lot of this recently from folks on the server, converts from cstrike who've been banned from the game until 2008.For the new VAC (Valve Anti-Cheat - I think that's it) system, HLamp is included among those things that would be considered cheats. Why, I dunno.Anyhow, I would like to request that TA -doesn't- become a VAC secure server. I like playing my music while I'm killing people.

Which file in particular is this? I don't wanna tweak my g36e and make it crappy.

Out of curiosity... as this was being debated back and forth between myself and a few of the Grr's a few nights ago...Can you take the crosshair (i.e. from the svd or m79) and put it in place of the one for the g36e? Or will that pretty much screw your game up completely?

He irritates me to no end.As for his cheating, I suspect, but cannot prove.Therefore I can't make any kind of informed decision and/or vote.Besides, I've had people say that I've cheated because I've gone on a 14-man killing streak with an m60 at 18hp and bleeding.Sometimes the folks who insist Imknifes is cheating only do that to cover their own ineptitude.I've seen him knife through walls. I've emptied an entire mp5 clip into him and he's still gotten the better of me.But I can't prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that he cheats. So... I'll leave it to the admins to decide.
