It was my Pleasure, I am sorry we did not get it working for you. Do you have the latest driver for your Video Card, this may be worth trying. Another thing, I had to install patch 1.03 twice before it worked, I did not uninstall, I got an error and just kept installing it untill it took it. Also did you try following the instructions in the link Gator gave you that suggested you install the files manually, because the installer doesn't always work? You could always pack up your tower and your Battlefield 2 DVD and ship it to me. I will get it to work, or die trying. I promise I won't use my hammer! :peace:

Holy cow man! Was the 1.3 patch the same download, or have you downloaded a fresh copy? The reason I ask is because maybe the 1.3 patch is corrupt? I had problems the first time I loaded the patch, and all I did was reload the patch and all was ok. also maybe try to install patch 1.02 then 1.03. I feel your pain, I know how frustrating a computer can be, I sure hope this helps and you get your game working. Before you smash it with a hammer.

I grew up in Arizona, I lived in Phoenix, Snowflake, CampVerde, and Phoenix again. Each place about 4 years. I joined the military and left in 91. I have hiked the Grand Canyon 2 times, it is awesome, if you ever get a chance to hike it I would recommend it. When I lived in CampVerde, (which is about 15 miles from Sedona) that area is unreal. I used to ditch school and go to Sedona in the warmer months and go swimming at Grasshopper Point. Very cold water but clear. The only thing bad about Arizona is everyone is moving there in droves to get away from the high rent districts of Californa and driving the cost of living up to unbelievable prices. There is no way I could afford to move there now and have the same comforts I have now. $300,000 for a fixer upper is rediculous. Don't get me wrong I miss it, it has to be one of the most beautiful places I have ever been.

What kind of Video card do you have?

If you are talking about the green on the side of the buildings.....NO, you may want to adjust your video settings in the game, maybe turn them all down to medium, deffinately turn off all the eyecandy I have attached a screen shot of my settings, even if your system can handle all of the setting on high, it will still require more from your system to run, which causes more strain on your system. causing a poor gaming experiance. If you are talking about Counter Strike, Steam put out an update and the server wasn't updated, That has been fixed. Your video settings will need to be tweaked again because the changes they made messes up the FPS and PING. Hope this helps Cleatus
