No problems here at all? However, BFHQ was a little slow to update, I assume because of the server load do to all the people that were probably ranking up and what not. I did get notification and unlocks though as soon as I was supposed to while playing... Most of the people I've heard complaining, is a "user" related problem, or not understanding... TFD

Glad I could help! As for the medals and what not, I wouldn't worry about it, my guess is, their servers are probably pretty busy keeping up with all the ranking up and medaling everyone is doing on the first day of release. Give it time, I'm sure it'll probably end up showing up.. TFD

I'd try to remove/rename all folders related to BF2142 (demo, beta, or othewise), then redo the EA downloader deal. Should say download, then after it's done, should say "install"? I know when I first had mine purchased, I looked at the downloader, and it said, "play" and I hadn't downloaded anything, and it only was like 2 min between buying, and supposedly being able to play. I uninstalled the beta, and renamed the BF2142 folder in "my documents" to BF2142beta (where the profiles are stored), and then restarted the downloader, and then it said "Download" which took about 1 1/2 hours, and then it changed to "install"... TFD

Yea, before running the downloader and installing, I had to uninstall the beta.. After that, all is well.. TFD

Exactly... LOL And, no where in our rules does it promote base/spawncamping, so we're not activivly saying, come in here because we allow this. it just doesn't disallow it.. It's a tactic, and part of the game... TFD

I agree.. From a personal standpoint, I do it when we have all the capable. If one goes grey, or is taken, I immediately focus my attention on recapturing the flag/flags lost... TFD

Oh geez, here we go again... Look folks, its war!! If you can pin the enemy down in there own base, and keep them there, then that's what you do! Don't allow them to exit there main base, to get flags, or, if they do get flags, keep them from using their assets, and aircraft etc. to assist in defending and or capping other flags. A team that soley concentrates on camping the uncappable will ultimately loose against any half descent team. If you have other flags, spawn there. If you don't have other flags, then work together to get out, on foot if you have too, to get other flags. If the enemy is all at your base, then you should be able to cap other flags. It's not "base raping" it's WAR!! I get so tired of this argument... It's fair game, and part of it. Yes, it's very frustrating to be on the receiving end of it, but, look at yourself, and your team to find out how you ended up there in the first place... Everyone spawning at the main, the big line for aircraft?? Fact is, if you have a descent team, that works together, you won't end up in this situation..... TFD
