Yep yep yep, know the feeling well, sometimes it works - sometimes doesn't - I just quit HL and try again until it works, but once I've got TA in the list I don't bother with the update, I just double click TA - no need for any other servers, they're mostly full of cheats and people complaining about helmets, so I just stick with it.Have fun,HUGH JASS

Bad news that mate, I've had problems like that before and it turned out to be a faulty H/D. When I changed it and did a clean install, everything was fine - sounds like a bottle of you're favourite tipple and a spare 3 or 4 hours. I know it's a ball ache formatting, but it does need doing every 6 months or so.Good Luck,HUGH JASS
