I've thought about getting it. I just don't know really. I hear from people that it is a good game, but on the otherside there is all the things that can go wrong with it. Which we all know what the problems can be.

I want a SONY WEGA tv. 50"-60". They provide a picture that is almost right on par with the best plasma TV. Plus, if the picture goes out. You can replace a bulb in the LCDs. Where as in a plasma I was told that if the picture goes out. Your screwed. Sony WEGA

Half-Life 2 mods... like WaW, FA2, Insurgency, and Incursionmod That could be awhile it seems.

That would be crazy! Better yet. If only some people were as smart in BF2 as the AI is in FEAR! Imagine how much nicer that would be.

I don't know what they did with the control scem of it all, but it has gone all ta hell. When I want to go from prone to running and sprinting right away. It usually takes me back down to prone, or even better it will start doing this stuttered step or something where it seems like it is confused on what it should be doing. They really screwed it up. I'm also not liking when I want to go scoped and it takes me back out of scoped. That really pisses me off. Plus, when I click "join game" choose my weapons and get going...HEY BF2 feels the need that I should have to click "join game" again!!! Yes...it takes me back to the "join game" screen again. So I get the pleasure of doing that twice at times. Lets see what else haven't I mentioned.......No firing tow missiles, AT rockets + tow missiles going the any veichle from any angle. Yes, just today actually I had a AT-rocket go through the top of a M1A2 and hit the ground underneath of it. Doing no damage to the tank. That was nice..... Thats about it for now. The AT-rocket through the top of the tank is about the newest addition to my list of "The ****** up things of BF2".

I recently just bought the game and today I beat it. It took roughly 10hrs, if that. Not a very long game. Was it worth the 40 bucks? YES!!! It is a very fun game in a weird way. It will give you a good scare, make you jump alittle, it will even make the little hairs on your arms stand up. If you have ever considered of buying this game. I recommend you do. You shouldn't be dissapointed. If you can play BF2. You should be able to play this game. I couldn't play it on high settings, but the auto detect settings pretty much did the trick. If you have a good sound card make sure you sacrifice a little graphics for the sound. Thats what really gets ya!

Here is another one to had to the list. I don't know if it is just an ATI video driver problem, but I sometimes can't see the gun fire of enemies. No matter what they are in or using. That includeds EVERY POSSIBLE THING YOU CAN FIRE!!!! To add to that, I also can't hear the gun fire sometimes. Even if the enemie is right beside me. NOPE!!! Can't here that PKM from 5ft away. They must have gotten a silencer for it. Thats it, its gotta be. Knowing EA/DICE they probably put one on it because they think that a machine gun can be silenced. Not to mention when the M1A2 fires it's HUGE round, can't hear that either some of the time. It must of a silencer to!!!! WOW!!!! Just a little bit ago, I was playing and this guy killed me with the MG36 or w/e. I couldn't hear any of his shots untill I was dead. Go freaking figure. EA/DICE need to get their head out of each other's arses and fix this damn game. I don't think there has been one person that has not had a single problem with this game since it has been out. Anyway, i'm done with my little rant. I could name more problems, but that would just be repeating what most everyone here has already mentioned.

Manual claymores would be nice, i think. More maps would be nice as well.

How come I can't watch any movie in my windows media player. Not even DVDs anymore. All I get is sound.

LOL!!! I had to do that with Unreal 2. I set it to some really high resolution when I had my tv as my monitor. oops!!!

GW was fun for a little while. Other then that my honest opinion about that game is that sucks after awhile. I think the reason why most people choose to play over some is because you don't have to pay for it. pros- no monthly fee cons- not enough variety no risk of losing anything when pvping mission can take up to 2-3 hrs!!! and once again not enough variety!!!! Seriously after 40 hrs of the game. You've seen everything. Should have done everything or close too.

I just found out that I have to get BF2:SF to get the new unlocks:( Anyone else that doesn't have that get the new unlocks???

the huhuhuhuhuhuhu has always been there. As far as me liking the game. I have no clue. I can't say I was dissapointed because I wasn't expecting much from it all. Like I and a few others said earlier. EA/DICE go from one extreme to the next. Something they shouldn't do. They should try the gray area. Go in steps. Like valve or GW. It seems like there is an update everytime I play those games. They don't try to fix everything in one shot. Trying to fix one thing at a time is more efficient when it comes to a computer atleast IMO. The name bug for instance. They stated some where that they couldn't honestly fix it because they didn't know what was causing it. Well with EA/DICE trying to fix EVERYTHING, something new could be causing it. To be honest, I had that bug last night and that was the first time in about a month or so. If they would just implement small patches every week or every other week. I would think they would be better off and not get so much critizim about how stupid/horrible/retarded/lazy they are after this patch to most people. Some people I bet are just wishing they didn't buy this game. Yea, I know this game has a huge amount of potential, but you know for some reason I highly doubt it will ever make it there.

Oh that and I can't choose to unlock the new unlocks! YEA!!!!!!

It could be a whole lot better if EA/DICE didn't take short cuts on somethings. Like jumping and shooting, or lower the blast radius on C4, or having missile to 180 degrees turns. You know things like that. Yet again I haven't played the game because after I installed the patch it took away all my sound. Now it won't even register my X-FI sound card. Saying I don't have it. Yea ok.

ok....for some odd reason or another it works now. go figure.

I just go directly through the modem. Yes, I can ping the server. I don't know how a firewall would affect this because I played the match "not on our server" and I played for maybe 2 hrs on our server. Then it just suddenly lost connection to the server. I tried to connect immediately afterwards. When I got down verfiing client data. I was about to click join and it took me back to my browser saying " No server choosen". That and I can play on any other server I click on. Just can't play on the armory server.

It won't do anything. I can't connect to the server whats so ever. I can't even see the server in the browser.

So, it is happening again. MAC knows what I am talking about and a few others. For some screwed up reason. I can't see the armory server in my BF2 browser. Let alone, connect to it through the ip address. It says connection failed...please check your network connections. This has happened to me once before about a month or so ago. Now it is kind of annoying.
