I really hope it is false considering all of the time and effort folks have put into playing BF2. If that were the case then I'm not sure I would give them anymore of my money. In a sense it would be intentionally ripping us off by ending support to a game that many have payed for and have actually purchased booster packs, etc. They would have suckered us in and then pulled the plug to make BF2142 the new cream of the crop for them. Sort of like forcing BF2142 to be popular instead of giving gamers a choice of what they want to play.

the wife and i are sooo addicted to PB. We too were shocked to see Veronica bite the bullet. Can't wait for tonights episode.

Soooo, doesnt look like i'm too far off then. I guess I need to do some more tweaking. Oh, and I used 3DMark05 b/c the sys. requirements for '06 were 2.5Ghz CPU or higher and I dont have that. Should I use it anyway?

Wondering how my pc is running compared to others. My 3DMark05 score was 6,312. For those of you close to my hardware, what's your 3DMark05 score? Well, from a social aspect, I say we keep the server up and run vanilla and SF. That give us "home", if you will, in the clan realm and also gives us an opportunity to meet more people whether they're potential recruits or not. If we remove the server then most likely it'll be harder to get everyone together to play and we'll end up being scattered out more. What happened to leagues or scrims? Maybe that'll spark some interest and get folks in the server. My $.02.

shipping it to you today Klinkey after thinking about it, think i'm going to go w/ the monitor and just buy myself the vid card for my bday. that way I get both. and just to make sure I'm clear, I will have to switch out of dual monitor mode to play BF2 and then back to dual monitor for everything else? Merc...a while back you had posted a pic of your dula monitor set up, can you post and/or send to me?

k, well I was thinking get the monitor then I can get the vid card shortly after but sounds like the vote is for the card. thanks for the help!

So my b-day is coming up in Sept and the wifey asked what I wanted and I'm having a tough time deciding on what to do. I already have 1 of each so getting the vid card would put me in SLI and getting the monitor would give me dual monitors. Check out my current PC specs to see what I'm working with. Let me know what you all think.

I looked at the one on Newegg but according to TD's website the one I ordered has higher clock speeds. Core: 580 vs. 600 from TD Memory: 1500 vs. 1560 from TD now I'm not sure if that is the case but thats what the website says. hindsight, I'm not sure the extra $40 is worth the difference if the speeds are faster.
