This guy was returning a punt and one of the guys pursuing him gets blindsided and just totally destroyed. It was the hardest hit that I have ever seen. The guy flew probably about 5 yards backwards in the air. A coach showed it to me at school and I don't know where he got it from. He had it on a cd. Basically just different tackling. I noticed that most of the hits in rugby are much better form tackles than in NFL. I guess that is because you have to pin in rugby but in football you just gotta knock em down.

Im not saying that it is the best because it is the toughest, I was just comparing the toughnesses. Yeah in rugby they don't have helmets (some do, actually) but it is also illegal to tackle their head... I see your point, but once again the tackling is just different.

Hey exactscience, you call american football girly, but I have actually heard that there are many more injuries in american football than in Rugby. I guess this is due to the fact that in Rugby there is no blocking and there are more tackling rules. I disagree that american football is "girly." Sure, there are pads. But then that just increases the amount of force people will put behind a tackle. In Rugby most of the tackles are more about technique and you can't tackle above the shoulders. In american football there is, of course, tackle technique, but brute force is very effective as well. So I disagree with it being, in any way, "girly." And Klink, if you are doing your job well on the play as a reciever then you WILL get the ball thrown to you, and if you are up in the air trying to catch it while a defender hits you with his whole force then you won't feel good anymore. and once again Ripper the reason that those hits look so bad its that they are on skates on ice. Not wearing cleats on turf.

Well CSS is kinda a must-have game along with HL2. Then get the mods when they start coming out more... I might start playing DOD:S again. I have started dabbling in CSS once more but most of my time is consumed playing Diablo II LoD I always return to my dark mistress... Diablo II... oh how you torture me. BF2142 gets old fast because there aren't enough guns to choose from. For me, at least. Now, if there were a bunch of models that I could DL for BF2142, then it would be a different story. That is the reason that I like CSS so much. There are a million different models to download so I feel like I am using a different gun every time I download a new one. It keeps the game fresh.

Upon seeing this I raised an eyebrow because of the "hardest hitting" comment there Klink. So I hopped on over to Youtube to check out some of the hardest hockey hits. They were fun. It is definately fast paced. I don't know if the hits are necessarily harder than football hits, though. They look worse because they are on skates and don't have as much traction to hold them down onto the ice. I guess that they are about the same. I never see good hits when I watch hockey, though. They aren't as common as in football. In football there are 22 guys having a good chance of getting ROCKED on every play, because at least 15 of those guys are going to make contact on any given play. There are probably about 120 plays per game. So at least 15 guys getting hit on 120 plays, you gotta figure that at least one of those is going to be a big hit. and yes, I am bored. oh and Travis, even though I am not a huge soccer fan, to leave it off of the choices would be a crime, considering it is the most popular sport worldwide.

American Football 100% absolutely, positively my favorite. Soccer is a pretty distant 2nd Hockey is an even more distant 3rd Basketball a very distant 4th Baseball the farthest at 5th

Obviously the Cowboys are nowhere NEAR the best team in the NFL. When is the last time that they won a Super Bowl? Sure they used to be very good... but not so much anymore. It doesn't matter if your team beats them during the regular season. All that ends up mattering is the playoffs. I would say that the Colts, Chargers, Patriots, Saints, Bears, and many more teams are better than the Cowboys. At least they were last year. And don't even get me started on the TEXANS! Back to baseball: BountyHunter, of course they are going to take the 10 million over the 1 million. That is the exact point that we are making. The Yankees can afford to give them 10x as much as other teams (minor exaggeration), so in turn they can get a lot of good players from other teams. That is the point. But yeah I don't really follow baseball... I actually hated it until a few weeks ago when I started to want to keep up with it a little bit, and found myself liking the Red Sox. I think that I am just craving sports (cough cough, FOOTBALL) so much that I am turning to what they have on TV the most right now. But personally I would much rather hear about news from NFL training camps and offseason stuff that Baseball. Baseball is too slow-paced for me. It would be good if the games moved faster, but there is just too much dickin around for me.

The only reason that they are good is because they have more money than everyone else. That is why there should be a salary cap in baseball. It would even the playing field. Think about if there wasn't one in the NFL. It would get ridiculous.
