I have unlocked the L85A1 at 1000 Global Points and then the PKM at 10500 Global Points. I will unlock the M95 next at 25000 Global Points.

Good post Defcon, although kinda hard to read =P Go for the knife badge next, it's so much fun ambushing an enemy squad with just a knife. And yes the L85A1 is godlike, although considerably weaker than the Kalashnikov series of guns.

Gator that was kind of a cheap shot you took at me =\ I'm afraid you have an innacurate perception of people who play on ranked servers. Please do not categorize and label people who do something you're not fond of doing =( And for the record I see a lot of teamwork on Ranked servers, with everyone in squads and giving orders and stuff like that. Oh and lagnhard, I just reached Corporal and I got one weapon unlock. Still trying to decide what I will unlock.

Erm, I meant "What are you ranked" and not "What is your rank" =P Like, I'm ranked 100, what about you guys. And what did Poptart mean about the Top 5 thing? And yeah the unlockable weapons are different, not necessarily better, than the defaults. Some sacrifice power for accuracy, and some are completely different (Sub-Machine Gun versus a Semi-Automatic Shotgun).

I was talking with Poptart and she said that some like some of you guys are ranked in the Top 5, and I don't want to go against what Poptart said, but I don't see you guys there. Ranked Top 5 I see =BOD=Grim, =|UH|=ryan, [MyORC]-AnDouilLE, BoB|SuicideSkippy, |LAB|Monkeymagic. Then again, what do I know! D= So I was just wondering what everyone was ranked on the Leader Boards in BFHQ in Battlefield 2. I'm currently ranked exactly 100 in Global Score, 70 in Teamwork, and 160 in Combat. This was very hard to do. To put it in perspective, you need 1000 global points to reach Lance Corporal, which is the third rank, to get your first unlockable, and you need 11000 global points to reach Corporal and unlock your second. I have already unlocked the L85A1 for the Medic, and I don't need another gun for assaulting. That means I don't want the G3A3 or the G36C. That leaves the PKM for Support, the M95 for the Sniper, the DOA-12 for the Anti-Tank, and the Jackhammer for the Engineer. I don't really want something that would limit my range like a shotgun, so I'm leaning towards either the PKM or the M95. Which would you guys suggest I get? Summary: Post your Battlefield 2 rank and tell me which gun I should unlock next.

Are we going to have to wait till the 22nd for the CS:S server to come back?

And what's the Counter-Strike: Source schedule!

Sorry to tell you Stevo, but some of the best Battlefield pilots use a mouse and keyboard. It gives you an unmatched level of controll and accuracy, but turning tires the arm out. I'm a good pilot, and I use a joystick when casually flying. But if I meet someone in the air that I can't beat with my joystick, I'll put it down and get him with my mouse and keyboard. Oh and I'd play Counter-Strike: Source and Battlefield 2.

You guys really need a server, I just got banned from the tomclancyserver 1 (64 players), which is a VERY good server. I was flying the MiG-29 and dropped my bomb prematurely, taking out a lot of my guys. Got banned for "excessive team killing" =X

I use alt as well, and there's apparently a bug that doesn't let you use it. I was VERY frustrated, but after messing with the controlls for 20 minutes, I finally went to play and all of my anger went away. TAC get a server up! HURRY!

Damn I thought I would come here and be the first to tell you guys =P Mine has slowed down a lot I'm at 23% at 53 KB/Sec, 127 MB downloaded.

I've done crazier stuff than that, does that means my hacks are superior to Scratchy's? :sorry: But seriously, there's nothing unusal going on here, just another case of someone who's been playing a game for a long time getting good at it. The top players at the server (Me, any Muppet that joins but particularly Scratchy and Mage, JBLAZE, and gen.kad. Scratchy and Mage are a bit better than kad, JBLAZE, and I, though.) have been playing this game for quite some time, I know Scratchy and I have been playing for longer than half of BigJ's age. Don't mean to disrespect you Basald, I heart you, but as far as I can tell from watching Scratchy play, there's nothing unusual about it. Just a good player. I do wish someone would make a skill video for me though :sorry:
