You need to go for the ribbons and badges. Medals don't earn you any points in this game. Silver badges net you 500 and gold earn you 1000. The ribbons vary from small amounts to large amounts such as 2000 points.

yes, I got my commisar gold promotion during that round and I still have it now.

I don't have a pic of it, the screen flashed by too quickly. But I had 3160 points in a round, the game was acting weird and I got multiple badges in 1 round. I got the legion of merit ribbon for the 2nd time, and 2 recon silver badges.

I just tried connecting, havent been on steam in the last few days, and couldn't connect either. Either they are doing a major update...or things when a little screwey in their systems.

I remember that happened during the beta a few times, haven't had it happen to me since then.

have you tried gamerenders.com? I think klink gets some pictures from there.

I think the new jihad jeeping in 2142 is people jumpping out of transport choppers into tanks and walkers. The people who do this aren't just annoying but disrupting gameplay because those are mobile spawns! I can't tell you how many of my deaths are a result of me spawning into a chopper with no pilot.

I did it more often in bf2, I guess it just worked better for me. I've tried it in this game a few times but it just never seems to work right. Whenever I was a commander in bf2 I would drop a car on a rogue sniper or the enemy commander just for some laughs.
