i did get it too work but i didnt install the patch again, i think there were too many accounts logged on at once. I went to everyone elses account in my family and logged them off and it worked. But then when my bf2 crashed to desktop it took a few tries for it to get up and running.

All of a sudden today my bf2 is not starting up. I've tried both disks, the bf2 one and the special forces one. I put the disks in and click on the icon, the big red bf2 logo comes up goes quickly to a black screen and then goes back to desktop. Im stumped here, anyone have any ideas.

  6. thats actually one of the things i liked, i really hate those times when i dive down to revive someone and pull out the defibrillators only to find i need to recharge them. Sometimes that wastes valuable time.
  7. yea i was reading up on the joystick i bought, someone said they use it for everything except for ground pounding, they use it for tanks, boats, vehicles, planes, and choppers.

getting basic and vet at the same time isn't good, people who did that haven't been able to get 1st sergent rank because for some reason it's not recoginizing you ever got the basic. Hope it doesn't happen to you guys.
  13. do you know how to select the gun? you go to kit selection and click the up anad down arrows next to the kit name. All ranked servers have to have unlocks enabled. But sometimes theres a bug where it doesnt let you use unlocks and it says your a private.
  14. Some things are okay, but i feel they are doing a lot of things that don't need to be done. Jumping while shooting, reducing rockets before reload etc..
  15. yea i just got a joystick too, the saitek cyborg evo, i need to spend some time finding out the best configurations.
  16. its a speacial forces map..we were playing it the other day, the name slipped my mind.
  17. yea everyone should make sure they get the required badges before they hit the rank, or they will never get promoted untill the next rank after that. gg ea.
  18. sergeant requires 2500 points and no badges. usually its just really slow, im sure it will eventually give it to you.
  19. you use mouse and keyborad:eek: all this time i thought you had a joystick
  20. thats why you make sure your on impact2oo or gator's team . you may last a little longer.
