I found that when I stripped off most filters they started to pop up. There is still a problem though. Gator you may want to try and play around with the server name and the use of different lettering (caps/lower case, wildcards) to see if that may help. Merc

Sorry I haven't been playin SF at all.....I just love COD4. I'd marry it if I could. Makes me want to change jobs to Activision.....

I love PC's - the whole console controller thing sucks..... Long live the KB/Mouse. Good point about the upgrading of the graphics. I bet that you'll see consoles that will have that feature in the future. Then they'll start looking like PC's! LOL.

Well I got off my ass and somewhat fixed it.... I created a new account in Windows Vista 64 as an administrator and the game started working again. Something is wrong with the older user's security profile I believe. However with the new account I am now getting kicked from the server due to punkbuster. I'll be back to COD4 for a while I guess..... Merc

I believe after patch 1.4 my BF2142 stopped launching. I've tried the Speaks' fix and have reinstalled the EA downloader. I've reinstalled the patch and the downloader keeps telling me that it has not been installed. The patch log shows no obvious errors. Basically I'm more than capable of just reinstalling everything or figuring it out but just don't have the time to screw around with it - plus I've got COD4 so who needs BF2142. So someone give me an excuse to bust my ass to fix BF2142. Or make a suggestion and I may just load the game again. I've posted a poll.
