I know, I haven't posted any new Spam toons recently, and my own message boards have been rather.... empty... but I'm back to post a little somethin'-somethin'.As the popularity of Firearms dwindles, and less and less people play every day... one of the biggest, funnest, and most popular clans decides to switch their server from Firearms to a completely different game altogether. Not just a seperate Half-Life mod, mind you, but a completely different game (BF:1942). I know I really have no room to complain, since I can't even play FA (my computer sucks), but yet, I don't see the sense in doing this, especially on such a big day as January 1st. And sure, it's only for several hours, but that's thousands of frags in FA, mind you.Maybe I'm really out in the wrong, and I know a lot of people will disagree with me, but yet, I didn't feel I could just sit by without letting my voice be heard.

I'll be up island for the next couple of days, so I can't complain. lol I might have to stop in at futureshop and get BF:1942

TA is NOT officially switching over. A few of us are just trying the game out for variety sake. I personally love doing that. While I like Firearms, I like variety in my life. And I'm quite gratified to find that a bunch of peaple I like to frag are the same way In fact, I'm seriously thinking of starting a thread to see what other games some of you have that we can play.... like Need For Speed or what not.

as TA grows as a community so does our need to expand. we are slowly moving into DC to become a great multi game clan/server community.

Need for Speed?!Whoa.... The Armory, a clan once dedicated to great fragging in Firearms... hosting hours of Need for Speed?I understand there's not going to be some switch over, etc. However, it doesn't really make sense that a server once committed to FA and its clan is suddenly trying other things. I know, I'm just weird about this sort of thing, but oh well.And I would try BF, but again, my computer is ancient -- I can't even run the original Half-Life, TFC, etc... I have a hard time running an Internet Explorer and Winamp at the same time.

well we have a small server set up and a few of us play everyday...so ya a couple of our members have tried it out and many of them like it...we are not switching..and unflush says it perfectly...we are a growing community, many of our clanmates and regulars also have different intrests in games..DC is one of them...im not saying that the whole clan likes this...not saying that all the regulars like it..just saying that most of us do and it just gives us a little break from the great game of firearms
