It looks great, but I hope the mortars are not as weak as they are in BF3 where it takes a couple of times to kill them.  I also noticed a guy jumped down from a second story balcony and did not receive any injury, so hopefully this is fixed in BF4.  The game looks great though.  :)

I believe it was confirmed a few weeks ago that they're fixing the fall damage. I wish I could find the source but I did see it and a DICE guy was the one that said it.

 

As for the mortar, it was OK in BF3 until people complained about it (surprise!) so they nerfed it (surprise again!)
