So many people have quit FA now, Alot of clans have died, Alot of clans have been forced to merge just to keep up. End result? FA Dead. For one thing, TA has always supported the FA community, and continues to play a major roll in it as well. Just to mention a few, TA has... - Provided one of the most popular and friendly server in FA - Compiled the Linux version that was broke for 2.7a that provided service to over half the FA servers - Provided one of the few map and file resources sites for FA players - Helped endless numbers of FA players with their game setup The "FA community" is not those who frequent the "Firearms" forums, or those who hang out in the Firearms IRC channels. The FA community is represented by the people who actually play the game on public servers such as "The Armory". The "FA community" are all those server owners who spend enless dollars of their own money and time setting up the game so that others may enjoy it....THAT IS THE COMMUNITY

No, for one thing, there will be no flame war here...this is not the FA forums. Secondly, TA is not a "Sub-community" of FA... TA IS THE "COMMUNITY". FA is not over because of CAL, which was a joke to begin with, but rather FA is having problems because they are not informing the players of on-going events, and they have a very poorly moderated forums that allow little punktards to flame new FA players....that is why FA is dying.
January 15, 200422 yr Gator's right, just because CAL has began thrown out the window, doesn't mean FA needs to go to.There are lots and lots of players who play FA reguarly and don't sign up for forums and the likes, thus their presence is unknown.
January 15, 200422 yr Ok, since no one in here has a clue whats going on (minus one or two) here's whats happening:1.) CAL HAS dropped FA from its divisions.2.) We are continuing with the CAL season in FAL (FireArms League)3.) We have the admins and such already.4.) I would like [TA] to participate in FAL, but with a twist, which I'll email mac or gator about.5.) I do not hate DoL, snahui (however you spell it) just takes things very personally.6.) I have to go shovel out my driveway.
