This is probably the worst roll out of data since the good old BF2142 manual updates. Does anyone know if your windows 7 or 8 product ID is the same for windows 10? 

I did this last night and had know issues. I used gators link. Very quick and easy.

Yes, it is a free copy if you already own Win 7 or 8.  It will not ask you for a key code when upgrading.

 

So your current windows  key will turn to a windows 10 key?

I am the last person to try that. I don't understand it. I'm a plug n play kinda guy. I'll see if "something happened" again :blush:

Patches only you can have issues LOL.

 

My guess is that it could be your connection. Try it again at a later time.
