I appreciate the effort on my behalf from those who have spoken up. So for that, I thank you.

In reference to the time where I was in the ticket booth: there were not a lot of people in the server and my team was about to all-cap. Rather than chase people away from a server that was trying to populate, I elected to stay back until the other team could secure A, and I was just dicking around, noticing things like the texture on the medpack changed when you threw it. Was just trying to not be bored.

I don't really want to get on Teamspeak. I've presented my argument with stats, gameplay video, and history of my accounts. I honestly don't feel like being berated over voice chat about something that I feel I have adequately explained. I understand that the ban will not be lifted.

However, it is upsetting to be judged by an admin who doesn't even have a positive KDR. I understand that there are all types of players, but after everything I have supplied and the friendliness that I have shown, to be treated with continued hostility by the banning admin makes me not interested in playing on your server.

Best of luck to you all, maybe I will see some of you on other servers :)

TheDeady, you must remember that BF4 is a difficult platform to admin. It's not like counter strike where one can quickly spectate a user and visually confirm exploits. With BF4, an admin must refer to stats. I do not blame the admin for immediately banning based on seeing a red stat even when not in the server regardless of KDR. We are grateful of the work our banning admins do. I do however find fault with not accurately and hastily investigating and therefore expediting this unban request. There is obviously some policy changes and education that needs to happen on The Armory's part. We hope, and I believe you'll forgive the Armory for looking after its playerbase and banning suspicious players  amidst the collateral damage regarding innocent and talented BF4 players. It's going to continue to  happen. What I call on the banning admins is to be more open minded to the larger admin subset within TAC and to weigh ban removal requests carefully and quickly. If that can't be done, then ban removal requests should be facilitated by those interested and willing to go on record. It should not be anonymous and those banning should clearly state their reasons. If there is any doubt, the ban should not hold.

RogueSteward, I do agree, and understand the difficulty in admining BF4. I don't blame an admin for banning me -- in fact, that's precisely why I record, so then there can be some kind of discussion, rather than half-recollections.

And of course, it's your server; even though I'm not hacking, I do understand your prerogative to be safe and create an environment of legitimate players.

It seems like you're a player like me who came from a CS background. I can tell you get it (sound is your most powerful tool), and appreciate the care and thought you've given to a complete stranger. Maybe I'll see you out there in BF4 somewhere :)

@TheDeady

I have been following this thread since beginning and understand both sides. However, I feel it would be simple for you to just hop on TeamSpeak when you see Axlerod in the channels. I'm sure you would find it most satisfying to hear what he has to say regarding this ban. It has been brought to your attention in previous post.

How I read it, "the requirement to speak to TheDeady in teamspeak before a final decision is made".

So simple. Unless you have something to hide, why else would you not join our TeamSpeak and have a chat with Axle?

It seems like you're a player like me who came from a CS background. I can tell you get it (sound is your most powerful tool), and appreciate the care and thought you've given to a complete stranger. Maybe I'll see you out there in BF4 somewhere :)

Yes, I did but I hope to see you playing here. You'll be hard pressed to find other servers and a community as good as the Armory. I agree with Patches that you should get into teamspeak. It's another method we use to weed out hackers and some admins just prefer it that way. Axle is, and has always been fair and he will treat you fair. Like I said in the private message to you a couple days ago, get on Teamspeak and ask for Axlerod and or Decaff.

Again, I agree with Patches and Rogue. It isn't an opportunity to "berate" you. Axle is an excellent admin - he is normally the first voice/text people hear/see when they join the server, welcoming them and making them feel at home. This also explains why, when people are on the other team to him, they recognize him and take great pleasure in killing him, and then letting him know about it!

He is also the guy that will selflessly stop playing, while he is in mid game, to look at players stats to see if hackers are on the server and disrupting the pleasure of others. Others may not agree with the ban, but you can recognize the respect and support they have for him. He has caught/verified the majority of hackers we have identified on the server. As you correctly point out, this is done to preserve the integrity of the server. However, some cases are not as clear cut as others. Yours being one such case.

Without naming names, a similar incident happened about 2 months ago.  Axle, and I invited the player into team speak and he joined. We politely discussed the things we had noticed and after several minutes, agreed to lift the ban. That player still joins us on the server to this day and joins team speak when he plays.

The decision is yours. If I was in your situation however, I would jump on team speak immediately and clear my name. How many servers out there are as active as we are in ensuring a level playing field for everyone that joins?

Deady is in Teamspeak now. Hopefully we can get this resolved tonight.
