Gator will be hosting the realism mod for DC, read the main sticky at the top of this Forum section for details on how to participate.

 

The server will be switched over to the realism mod starting at Noon and run as long as people show up and support it. Once the players dwindle down, Gator said he will be switching the server back over to regular DC.

 

 

So please show your support by showing up and trying it out with all of us.

My brother "Tanelorn" has posted that Gator and TA will be hosting his mod at the Official DC Forums.

Ya I did as you directed, I think, and it don't think it worked. Mainly because I am not sure how to play, am I sposed to just join a game with it running and it should switch to it? Or can i play it of hand. Do I put it in the "mods" folder? Or somewhere in the Desert Combat folder?

i did as the instrustions said and the mod works fine for me, everything works.

isnt there an arty calling zoom type bug that crashes the game for this?

I cannot use either DC or the new mod.I would like a concise "how to"posted in a new thread if someone could.I got it to work now mind you but it crashed to the desktop every time.

Mac: You have to COMPLETELY reinstall desert combat, leave no folders of it un-deleted I found out the hard way too.

What happened was the included instructions were not clear on where exactly to put the mod file.I finally found the right place after trial and error.That is why I asked for a concise tutorial so others would not have the same problem.
