TeamSpeak 5 is coming to a community near you

It appears TeamSpeak has recently lost the top #1 slot for voice gaming service, and apparently they are not taking it lightly. It seems Discord, Skype and a few other VOIP apps are gaining ground, so they are responding by releasing TeamSpeak 5 by the end of the year (Q4 2018). They say it will deliver unrivaled performance and features not seen before, and yes, they are skipping TeamSpeak 4 and going straight to TeamSpeak 5. They proudly boast that they "will not provide your data to 3rd parties," along with many other unique features that will set them apart from the competition.

Their new slogan is "YOUR TEAM. YOUR RULES." "Use crystal clear sound to communicate with your team mates cross-platform with military-grade security, lag-free performance & unparalleled reliability and up-time. As you may have already noticed they have changed the logo with a more modern style, and have changed their website to reflect their new attitude towards making them #1 again."

It's always nice to see the competition bring us nice new toys to play with.

I have noticed their rebranding lately. Guess I should have seen this coming. I hope TS5 brings the features they desperately need to compete. Mainly, ease of use and web interface options that Discord is murdering them on. Here's to hoping TS can fight back.

Bout time.. I could hook up one of my old handsets and get a better connection...secure voip dosent take

any band with its the all in one place connection that's been a pain.
