December 3, 20214 yr Im surprised, well no I really am not, how inefficient major developers like EA, MS, etc are at doing cleanups. I mean Windows , EA games etc should be pretty efficient and removing junk files and clearing memory but we still get fragments and memory leaks in products that have been run through numerous testing cycles. If there is a folder that you shouldn't delete dont put it in a cache folder and add a subroutine to clean the cache folder on shutdown. I guess I'll just take the time to write another script file that goes out and removes stuff that needs cleaning. sigh
