July 1, 200421 yr That's what I'm saying. The sig I have now is evil to the 56k'ers but I have an even bigger one. 8) Personally, I'm surprised people even waste time with 56k. For about 3 times the cost (or less if you're foolish enough to use AOL) you get at least 30 times the bandwidth. It's obviously the better choice.
July 1, 200421 yr eh. some people dont wanna spend that kinda money on internet tony. maybe theyd rather have digi cable or a home theater system. and 56k is an easy internet solution. not really too expensive so just about everyone with a comp can afford it. plus some places dont offer cable or dsl. so :-P
July 1, 200421 yr It's an easy internet solution, sure. Realize this: most people that are on these forums probably play online games. If you want to play the more recent games with 56k, you're in for some pain.
July 1, 200421 yr i realize that. but some people may not be able to do that. take me for example. when i lived at home i had a bad comp and my parents did not believe in paying for expensive internet. so i was stuck playing with 56k. along with a crap comp. so, yes painful it was.

July 1, 200421 yr boi, it was THE DAY AFTER. and they got a BRAND SPANKIN NEW COMP. a custom built one. now my dad is online playing UT2003 more than i am playing. can you believe that. ER.!
