try as might I couldnt help it, I started crying during the first part.The Second part wasnt quite as good though, lots of bombing range test videos, older footage, and I didnt like the nuclear weapon tests (no one deserves to be nuked.... yet).

Somehow, someway, i think i'm going to get flamed for my opinion on this video tribute. Or, at the very least, called "unpatratic" or other such things. I think this video wasn't designed very well. I think it's an attempt to be a propoganda film - and nothing more. In the beginning, it says that it's to show for the people that have died for America; or something like that. They would've done a better job IMO if they went back and did video clips from ww2; korean war, 'nam, Iraq war 1; iraq war 2 rather than just iraq war 2. And showing how "awesome" our troops are, and the fact we're willing to keep fighting by throwing bombs down...another thing that's wrong with the film. Would've done a better job if they showed US soldiers helping children, helping out with utilities; that kinda thing. But that's just IMO.

Okay, really. The first part was pretty good. Although i winced at Bushe's speach, i understood that it was part of the moment, so it was acceptable.

 

BUT the transition, the next scene, where we se some air bombardments of some unknown enemy, is totally mystery to me. IT gets somewhat solved in the end, when the 'we will fight that enemy'-orsomething sign came up, but it was totally unwaranted. Furthermore it was my impression (judging from the pace of the movie), that all those pictures that were interlaced with bombardement scenes, were pictures of troops, that fell becouse of that bombardements. poorly done. AND WHAT THE HECK WERE THOSE NUKES DOING THERE?

 

So just when i thought, i would like the video nethertheless, i enden up laughing.

Canada is not one way like that. Canada is more than one person, its 31 million people, each of whom deserve their views and opinions not to be shot down. That usually doesn't happen here, not saying that it doesn't.

 

If your country loved you as much as you loved it, we wouldn't be having these beheadings and other crap over in Iraq now. Thankfully, Canada has very minimal forces over there.

I dont believe you will let us forget very easily. You will use every chance possible to remind rest of the world the attrocities that happened on 9/11. And you will keep doing so until...until 'all evil will be erased from the face of the earth'. Whatever evil that may be and wherever it would have to be fought.

I hate when fiction becomes reality, but in books dating pre-2001, there are stories what such symbolizm can couse. And i dont like that what i see is coming along the script written in a book.

No offense, but i doubt anyone is going to forget 9/11 anytime soon. In all honesty, my friends; my relatives, some of my co-workers, my family, are all in Iraq because of 9/11. No, not because Iraq helped out Al Queda in any way, shape, or form, but because if They hadn't attacked us, we wouldn't have gone after Sadaam, where bush was claiming references to Sadaam and the 9/11 attacks. I don't need a video to tell me what to remember; what to forget. Nor does any other american. If you keep exposing it, you'll get de-sentisied to it and it'll no longer have any feelings to you.
