I hardly noticed it as it grazed by my town. There were even a few tornadoes about 10 miles away from my location. 8)

no tornados or huracaines here :]
you all aint seen nothing till you've seen one of those Kansas T-Storms. Its like a Cat 5 hurricane condensed into one giant storm cloud.

well, the eye was to pass over my house but it died and went south east by 30 miles.... however, my web hosting server is in olando..... went down for some time this morning.
I nuked that hurricane, and ate its babies. Damn babies.. Stupid babies.. ate em.. right up.. ate.. with an 8.. ate them.. right there.. Ate them.. Bam! and they were eaten.. Ate. Like 8. Ate. I ate them.
What sucks though is that all houses in NA are made out of cardboard (aka wood). In england for example and u can ask shotty, when a tornado hits it doesn't do as big damage to the homes because they are made out of BRICKS. If the planners would consider that when they build homes.......
rofl yeah..... or as the house next door is, has 2ft thick walls because its a 17th century thatched cottage.... most damage when a tornado hits is roof in teh UK, not the whole house.. but it is possible for it to tear a wall off if tehy are not braced, i have seen that happen!
True brick homes are a bit safer but you guys must not have Tornados like we have down south. I have seen many brick homes destroyed from bad weather. Granted they are not as common but not 100% safe.

Sam.Gen is going through that stage in life where he's a confused little teenager. 8)My house is brick! I win!!!
I've always wanted to stand out on a street, with a Tornada bearing down on me, and scream "COME AND GET SOME HONEY!"
