some ppl just don´t know to appreciate the Olympics...so many different athlets, so many different sports and so much diversification...and finally its a historical event, restarted 108 years ago, with almost 4000 years of history, more than most of the now existing countries have, had or will ever have... :-Di love the olympics for what they are and what they stand for... and what they should and could be...KP

i watched the opening ceremony..... GOLD MEDAL FOR FANTASTIC COREOGRAPHY.....!!!! nah we got a gold in the rowing agian, thats about it i think,.... like to see the non-track sports (throwing, jumping etc etc)

I look from time to time. I miss also the spirit a little bit. The spirit came a little bit at the opening ceremony, but that was it..The 100 m Men Finale was great.. I am always very interested in that. Everyone in the stadion is quiet, boom, there it goes, under 10 Seconds.. Wow, what a feeling that must be for the people watching it live and for the athletes who run their heart out..Some great moments were also in the gymnastics, but i dont know the correct words in english, to describe that ...But overall i think we should look at the olympic idea and not which team/country wins most medals.For us the swiss, is every little medal, a great thing.I think also that the weapons in every conflict all over the word should lay down during the olympic games....But that will be a dream forever...
