December 8, 200421 yr i was browsing one day and wondered why it took longer things to open up. It was a little slower no biggie. I look down and guess what i see. http://prc.deltaverse.com/snowflakepwn.jpg
December 8, 200421 yr Mine actually uses -100% so I just keep the webpage open everytime I game and it's like having a 4.8GHz processor.

December 9, 200421 yr Because we're all probably using Firefox. :DActually, my theory proved true. I viewed the main page in IE and it wasn't laggy at all. Firefox loses this round.
December 9, 200421 yr It just takes awhile for the snowflakes to load for me so other than that it looks great. Question how long will the snowflakes last?
December 9, 200421 yr Because we're all probably using Firefox. Actually, my theory proved true. I viewed the main page in IE and it wasn't laggy at all. Firefox loses this round. That's why I use the "Maxthon" browser. It has the same and more funtionality as FireFox, yet it is intergrated with IE. http://www.maxthon.com/images_misc/bnrs/maxthon_88x31_1.gif http://www.maxthon.com/
December 9, 200421 yr Wowsers  !! Nuclear fallout 8) Who dropped their drink on the button to put us all "in the drink, oops, brink" ? Radioactive fallout falls fine here after 1/4>1/2 minute, depending on how many paratroopers landing at site... Recommend considering a snowfall ceasefire for those that have less then high speed cable internet and our 1.5mhz cpu-512mb ram-128mb video ram-lots hd ...but then ... maybe good idea considering Christmas and needing faster cpus-more ram-more video ram-hd space ... for hl2 mutliplay soon to come ... i been busy for month figuring out how to max out p1-83mhz system for young people to play with which i found amusingly, runs duke nukem with matrox 220 millenium quite well at around 15 fps  ... i had to loose many nights sleep figuring out it's riser card had devices not shown as conflicting which really were on memory address use, not irqs... done and got loads of games to load for them now that i found card with best fps in it ... got 6 used vid cards cheap but long time testing/troulbelshooting ... but persevereaence paid off ... i'll soon be trouble shooting y'all again in fa  anyway, bit "flaky" around here suggest using "head" ... and "shoulders" better and "drop" the "flakes" but no biggy to me, happy holiday wishes to y'all from [TBT] Srg Shultz
December 9, 200421 yr i'm getting a bit lagged too from the snow too,no biggie i just shovel them from time to time and it doesn't get to bad  but i think i may try that "Maxthon" gator was talking about.
December 9, 200421 yr Author Kol_Klink]That is my problem too and I have a very good pc. whats "Very good" ? and vesper. it was good about 8 months ago. Now i can see the effects of aging when i play cs:s and hl2. my 9800 pro is starting to die (1305 in 3dmark05!) Probly in January i'm looking at building a new amd 64 rig, with a x800xt. but thats another thread. btw its not the snowflakes that lag. Its just programs take a tad longer to load.
December 9, 200421 yr i use opera and the snowflakes are fine.but when i opened IE to look at em (i wanted to watch them pile up ) they lagged all the way down.
