I'm hooked, I'm looking for ones with tanks in them. I'm d/ling the Rise of Nations demo right now, any other good ones I should check up on?

warhammer has more than tanks it has like.. monster machines its my favorite rtsc&cG has tanks for the us and chinese and then the GLA has a few tanks but mostly suicide bombers and stuff.i dont think BFME has tanks

WH4K: DoW is really good. I bought it for $55! Too bad I don't play it as near as much as I play good ol' Warcraft 3.

might be a bit older but still a good game,try empire earth+expansion "the art of conquest".plenty of modern day warfare.plus tons of other time periods to play in.

C&C Generals is a great game.im going to go "aquire" it now. !

be sure to "aquire" zero hour expansion as well

StarCraft has tanks, and you can find it pretty cheap. however WarCraft3 is better i think.but for you i think StarCraft is your best bet, gamespy ranked StarCraft as the number 3 best game of all time, and gamspot ranked it as the #1 game of all time.

Oh yeah, Starcraft. That is an excellent game, but it is 2D. It is so much fun to play, some people are REALLY good at that game, it is insane. And it has good music!Blizzard, in general, is an awsome company. Some day they may come out with Starcraft 2...some day long, long from now.

However, if you want a really good RTS experience with tanks. I recommend you acquire Total Annihilation, its Core Contingency Expansion pack, and this awesome mod called Warmonger for it. I heard Real War bombed horribly, PCG gave it a fairly bad review

Real war= probably the worst game I have ever played. Mind you, I've had to play dance dance barbie or something like that in the past. I'd honestly prefer to play the barbie game.

I have to concur with comrade LORD ORION on TA.... Total Annihilation to date has been my best RTS experiance EVER. Only one that came close to it's playability was C&C Generals and that one pales in comparasen.You can have up to FIVE HUNDRED units on each side of the battlefield! Easily 1/3 of the vehicles used are tanks.Battle by air, land or even sea! The map diversity will fill all your needs. Launch amphivious assault with hovertanks or units that walk on the bottom of the ocean, take your pick! Music is composed by Jeremy Seole, who's game credits are longer than I can remember but a few of you might know his work from Morrowind, Neverwinter Nights, and Natural Selection.Unit's do collateral damage when destroyed.... Nukes that actually hurt like hell when they hit, side specific missles that disable or destroy the enemy without harming their own units.... mines, vehicles, battle robots called KBots, planes, sea planes, ships... all yours.Play it, you'll like it. Just don't do what my friend Orion did and fall under the power of the evil CORE consciousness..... join the ARM resistance and fight the power man! LOL
