my first stick of ram was corsair, and yes, its the best.

I bought the two sticks of kingston today, FA now loads in like 15 seconds (used to take about 45)

is that crap because its some company i've never heard of, or is it kinda up there with kingston and corsair? it was the cheapest only $60 so i thought it was nice, kingston was like $70 but i could pay the extra if its worth it, it seemed to have all the same features though :?

looks nice haya

just a quick question, which one of these would be better. . .

768mb ram @pc2700 or 1gb ram@pc2100 ???

or are they about the same?

ok i hate to sound picky and sorry for the triple post but i really need to know the answer to my question because I'm going to buy some more RAM tomorrow and I don't know which option i'm better off with, for those of you who can't see above here is my question again :p

youre only buying ram to be better than me arent you!

i would go with the 768 mb of PC2700, cause that would bring you over 1gb, and thats enough

i think you missed my point. . .

i'm either gonna buy 768mb of pc2700 and take out what i have cause its pc2100, my mobo only supports 1 gig anyway. Or, i could add to what i have and put on another 512mb of pc2100, which is what im going to do.

Thanks for the help Macgyver, I'd listen to you over Boja any day

i don't think the speed matters as much as total quantity anyway, but this was some nice reassurance :p

how do i tell how many pins i need, cause i see that i can buy 184 pin DDR ram and 240 pin ram

anyway Boja, yes i'm doing this just to have more ram than you :p

*EDIT* ok, found the RAM that I have, its 184 pin. . .

I got myself 512MB of DDR3200 RAM, must say, that and the 1600MHZ upgrade and new motherboard brings FA to over 200 FPS :p
