Posted January 19, 200520 yr So? Mine has to be Oasis. I've been listening to them for many years now and there is nothing quite like them.
January 19, 200520 yr You can't choose just one... but my top 3... 1) Our Lady Peace. I've got almost all of their albums, great band. 2) Metallica. 3) Led Zeppelin. Every new song I hear ceases to amaze me. (-e- They don't make new music, but I mean the songs I hear when I listen to my dad's records)
January 19, 200520 yr peopel with favorite bands need to get out more often =] there are so many good bands through out life. i could never choose one
January 19, 200520 yr At the moment its a toss up between 5 bands SCissor sisters. Dire Straights Pink floyd The Rasmus Wishbone Ash....
January 19, 200520 yr well unquestionably Pink Floyd made the best album ever THE WALL! but anyways most psychobilly/rockabilly/rock'n'roll rocks (eg Necromantix, Mad Sin, The Bones) then newfolk-stuff like InExtremo, Subway To Sally and Dropkick Murphys... i also listen to a bunch of punk bands (mostly german ones you probably dont know)... well....i couldnt say wich bands the best one (if youd have asked 2 years ago i would have probably said Marilyn Manson...but im outa that age...and he is appearently outa his phase of making good music) kinda confusing my taste aint it?

January 20, 200520 yr I can't choose one but I would say Tesla. Hey, i'm an old guy. I've seen KISS 9 times they are great live. Our Lady Peace was good on their first album ( Naveed, Starseed awesome tooooons) after that I couldn't care. What is this fascination with you young folks and Billy Talent it is like some really poor punk music. Into the river beloooooow, Yuk! I love The Killers the song Mr.Brightside is great. Old Canadians will remember Orphan great live bar band. I like Enigma too, great mood music if you know what I mean. OK I will stop now. I actually like rap too. Like what the hells his name? Oh ya, Tone Loc. LOL>
January 20, 200520 yr Bela Fleck & The Flecktones: a group formed purely of talented artists who do their own albums too (Victor Wooten, Bela Fleck, Jeff Coffin, & Future Man [Roy Wooten])
January 20, 200520 yr Kol_Klink]What is this fascination with you young folks and Billy Talent it is like some really poor punk music. Into the river beloooooow, Yuk! Well, Klink, for one, Billy Talent is not what I'd consider "punk". It's good rock. Obviously you haven't listened to the whole CD, and only the one song, which is fine, but it really flaws your opinion of them. They are a very talented group, moreso than the "new stuff" you see coming out. It's obvious that with the songs they write a lot of time and effort was spent perfecting them. If you ever see them live, you will see they sound just like they do on their CD, which is also a rarity nowadays. So many bands are all studio, because they don't apply themselves to their music and just want to hit it big, which is a major problem in the music industry. There's all these (what I'd call) terrible "musicians" whose beats are unoriginal, and whose voices are so computerized they could be Stephen Hawking. I could get into this more, but I have to go to bed... [/rant]
