Well people, its over. It was great. Let me outline my weekend for yall.

Friday:

Didn't go to school cause we had a 6 hour drive (woulda been 7 but we made good time....yay I guess) down to Jacksonville. We got there and we were stayin with some of our old friends. They have a girl who is a year older than me who took my brother and me downtown. It was simply INSANE down there on the riverwalk. We could barely move. We watched the fireworks...which were awesome and on both sides of us so the sound waves started smooshing us when they did big volleys. Anyways, we walked around down there for a few hours and the guy who was with us (one of the girl's friends) started drinkin beer. He is only 16 too. Any ways, he was on about his 6th bottle and a cop ambushed him and took him into a room. We left cause the guy called us and said his dad was comin to get him. He is gonna have to do some community service :?

Saturday:

My brother and I got up and went to the Renaissance hotel (thats where the Patriots were stayin). We were going up to Mrs. Belichick's room (thats the head coach's wife for anyone who didn't know) but the security lady at the elevator stopped us. We didn't have credentials. So we call Aunt Debbie (she isn't really my aunt, we just call her aunt) and she sent down her son Brian. He had credentials and everything, and told the lady we were with him. She said,"How do I know that?"

we were all thinking,"DUH LADY! HE JUST TOLD YOU!"

She said,"They are just gonna stop you upstairs and check you every time unless you go get a day pass."

So we did. It took us time and Debbie had to come down and stuff. Took about 15 minutes. Then we went up the elevator, got to the 6th floor where Debbie was stayin and lo and behold! Where are the people to check our credentials? Nowhere to be seen....maybe because they don't exist.

Anyways, my mom got our tickets from Debbie and we went downstairs. My brother and I loaded up onto a bus. Some of our friends and Bill (Belichick) got on the bus. Keith Traylor (d lineman for Pats) was sittin in the seats across from me and my brother. Thats a BIG man. Christian Fauria (Tight End) was sittin a couple of rows in front of us. Richard Seymour(Defensive line) and Willie McGinest (spelled that right? donno. He is a Defensive lineman and linebacker).

There were about 6 buses, we had police escort out the arse....Im talkin 4 helicopters in the sky above us at all times. Cops in cars and motorcycle cops were stopping all traffic around us....so we didn't even stop once on our 30 minute drive to the football stadium.

When we got to the stadium we sat in the stands for a couple minutes. Then the players came out with their uniforms on (not pads). Their kids all joined them, and we walked out onto the field. I got to talk to the players. Bruschi (linebacker) was walkin around with his little 3 year old on his shoulder....that was funny. Vrabel (linebacker) stepped on my foot, so I talked to him. I talked to Corey Dillon (half back) and got a picture of him and my brother on my brother's phone (my stupid self forgot a camera and sharpie for autographs....oh well). The funniest thing was seeing Corey Dillon playin football with about 5 little 3 year olds....the 3 year olds were winning I think.

Anyways, I got a picture with Bill and all of his (well, ours too) friends. We went on back to the hotel then my mom pulled up in Debbie's limo...they had been shoppin.

That night we went to the Timuquana country club to eat. I had some NY Strip Steak....it was some of the best steak I have ever tasted. I met one of my friends from when I was like 2 years old (we used to live in Jacksonville). He was crackin me up because he was makin fun of our waiter who was....a little too animated.

After we ate we watched more fireworks across the river. It was awesome, once again. After they had finished, the firework sounds didn't stop for at least 30 seconds.

Then we went on a boat ride (the boat was owned by the friend's father) down the river. That was fun...but cold.

Sunday:

Ate brunch at the Timuquana.

Went to the Renaissance, got on a Patriots friends/family bus that took us to the stadium. We walked around and stuff, saw Kansas (the band) playing, so we listened to them for a bit. We watched the game (duh). We were sitting on the endzone marked with the Eagles logo. We were on the side, not the end, and 19 rows up....awesome seats. Most of the action was right in front of us.

I think it was in between the 3rd and 4th quarter, while they were taking the commercial break that this happened:

A Pats fan stood up and was dancin around, balancing a cup of ice on his forehead a few rows below us. He was pretty good....until he stopped. The cup fell and he caught some of the ice. He tossed the ice and it hit a Eagles fan, not hard enough to even hurt a child. The guy obviously already had a bad temper that we had seen previously when he didn't like a call. He took off and brought back a security guard. The eagles guy started cussing and screamin,"THATS THE GUY THERE! HE HIT ME IN THE FACE WITH ICE!"

everyone around (including eagles fans) started yellin,"It wasnt anything bad!" "Sit down!" "Shut up! Go away!" "Throw HIM out of the game!"

one of the pats fans,"Eagles suck! Sore loser! Sit down!"

the security guards didnt do anything, actually the eagles guy was closer to gettin kicked out because he cussed so much. It was funny cause everyone started booing the guy till he sat down.

After the game we went back to the Renaissance and up to the hall outside of Debbie's room. We had food and drinks there and talked for a while. Bill came up, we talked to him for a while, then we went back to the house and went to bed at about 3:30.

Monday..... we just drove home.

Anyways, it was an awesome weekend. For anyone who lives in Jacksonville: Don't leave. Great city.

I hate you. All I did was take command of the sofa and remote and then enjoy some homemade nachos with a can of orange soda. :D I can't complain though.
I got home around 6pm CST, watched 5 minutes of the start of the second quarter.... turned it off and went to play CSS :D

What Mexican restaurant?

Dang So lucky all i did was go to my bros for the game and get messed up and i had a lacross game before it so that was fun.
I stayes up all night to watch the damn superbowl, and it was so crap. I cant believe how slow that "sport" is. The best bit was when Paul McCartney came on.
I'm kinda late, but the restaurant was Dona Marias, and for the comment.. If you live in Jax, Dontleave.. it's a great city? Trust me, after being here for 10 years, all you want to do is LEAVE. You run out of things to do aftr about 6 months lol

There's always something to do in the city, you guys have no idea how boring living in one of the towns that's basically schools and homes.
