April 21, 200521 yr Excellent! And the twice FA servers was full while 8 hours in a row... I played 4 hours in the server #2 and lot of new players but go on the server #1 and played with lot of TAC Members: most than 10 in one time??? It's excellent for me! Egidio.

April 22, 200521 yr 3.0 clearly is geared towards AR's.which could be good cuz it may make people camp less.but just the same i have a hard time with single shots owning snipers.

It used to reload fast before in previous versions regardless of nomen. Now it requires nomen at least. THats a crapload more balanced. But the sterling decimates all.

April 23, 200521 yr I voted poor because (for now) it's poor game to me. I played 2 hours. My opinion below. What I don't like: 1. new sounds: I overwrote fa2.9 files (over 3.0). I hope it's legal. I don't like it that much that I didn't even bother to make a backup. 2. SR: a. m82 is useless now. Some said that anti-recoil cheats are easy to catch so I don't know why there's a great delay between shots. b. SR shotgunning has been stopped (it's ok, even if I killed that way lots of players lately ). I don't understand that decision but I DON'T WHINE HERE!!!! It's really ok to me. c. SSG- due to faster game is crappy. If first shot misses you're dead. d. the best SR is Dragunov, I dunno why. 3. Registering: a. Even my fav (lately) g3a3 don't register. I noticed some players crouched but didn't strafe (in 1vs.1 fights). They were (IMO) afraid of no-register (like me). I did win some of those 1vs.1 duels so I'm sure they didn't strafe. And it was not accidental (they weren't rookies). b. Maybe it's because I can't hit anything? My k/d ratio dropped from almost 1.7 to 1.1-1.2 (???). I can't like it, don't you agree? 4. Faster gameplay: I felt like I had some sort of epylepsy. I've been using my PC a lot last 10 years (rounded down; oh and I didn't mention my stint with atari in the 80's), at work and home, like 6-10 hours a day and I've never had the issue like that before. Pros? G36e is my hero I've registered more hs on one sandblast that I've ever had kills with it in my entire 'career' PS I didn't read all of your opinions yet. Maybe I repeated someone's opinion. I'll read it soon and throw my 2 cents. BH

April 24, 200521 yr Overall I'm very pleased with the game. My only real irritation is the fact that it likes to crash for me on Sandblast (and I LOVE that map). The crashes seem to be random, I haven't figured out what is crashing me quite yet. For the time being, I'm watching maps and seeing where it happens most. Well, that the the sticking on prone bodies is still in there and pissing me off. However, since I tend to play IN YOUR FACE WITH A SHOTTY BASTARD type of player, this version has been very good to me with the increased speed. At one time I held the second highest score with the Saiga 12k and it feels like those days to me again. I used to kick total ass with a Sterling. However, this version I can't seem to find the old groove. I'm having better luck with a silenced MP5 than I am with my old Sterling for some strange reason. I guess I just need to get used to the new bullet spread. I was overjoyed to find the M60's stuttering seems to have stopped. I set myself up on a round of Sandblast and was overjoyed to find the thing firing smooth as silk and starting raking in a few kills before I crashed off the map. Then of course, the SVD.... man, this weapon has never been deadlier in my hands. I get set up, and anybody who seeks to countersnipe in my field of fire get's dropped in one shot. I can't drop runners, but I will usually hit them 2 out of 3 shots. Since it seems to have been kind to me, I'm happy with this version. Just a pity it's on an old engine that needs to be retired and a few bugs that will never get fixed are still in it.
April 24, 200521 yr I read some "scrypts" for sniper guns are available onto United Admins??? 1) The first plays of the FA 3.0, all players are in the same bag: I made very good scores but I play for the fun with friends. 2) Second and third day, for the M82: I see again that they can run & fire in same time without delay and without recoil for easy headshots plus it fire fast like a pistol? 2) Some scrypts are the same for other sniper guns like ssg & svd & pistols... Can make headshots with 1 or 2 bullets only without recoil too. [i see that today on a European server after a reformat from my crashed pc and a test on an empty server and they begin to play with me: they kill me 4 or 6 times and ask to me if I am niew player, I typed: "No, I test after a reformated pc" and after I killed him 15 by 1 with the G36e scoped, he begin to be best but with a svd & a pistol at long range distance beside that I was scoped with my g36e????]. 3) For me, if some players use those scrypts for to have advantages insteed in my normal game, I say & I firm that they are CHEATING for me because I am best than them with the M82 and without scrypts! I see lot of times that they can fire a half second before me with those scrypts and kill me before that I can fire 1 bullet! And I am proned and bipod deployed = very stable and ready to fire them and they can fire first before me in straffing or in rushing??? Very strange isn't it? I see also a straff with a 3000 of rate for to can move left & right without that any bullets hit you??? A player said me that and he use it in FAL matches for Scoutting and to see where are the oposants players behind a wall or a corner??? Egidio.

April 30, 200521 yr I really don't find much of a difference. My m14/m16 are more accurate (woot headshots!) and it is a little faster paced. The FAMAS is still an annoying little pwnage machine. I need to replace my steel umbrella from the raining grenades. My head gets removed with equal ease from all ranges. Overall, not much changed. I do however like the m14 scope crosshair because for some reason I find it easier to aim with that than any other scope crosshair.

The biggest difference between them I have found to be are the shot amounts. In CS:S, 2-5 can easily, as opposed to FA in which 25 are needed unless they're head shots. That's a joke.

Finding ak47 nice with tighter spread and bayo useable while shooting or reloading.
