March 20, 200322 yr One trick I found was to wait a few seconds before you start selecting anything (maybe 15-30 seconds). This may help you until the get a fix.

Yea, I've noticed that the menu lag is more often than not everybody joining the game almost simultaneously after the map begins.For me, normally after a majority of the people playing have connected, I can use the menu no problem.Occasionally though, I want to strangle my machine for the menu lag. But that's just me.
March 20, 200322 yr ya...maybe it's like becuse all the ppl are joining all at once...the server has to take in all these requests and put them on the screen and such...all those ppl selecting mainly the same thing might be a heavy loadhope it's fixed in 2.7
