sharp and everyone i have already given the REAL reasons of what actual happened. alex can think whatever he wants. i gave a huge post on the POP forums explaining everything.

bottom line nothing illegal was done. we have already talked with recon gamer and vbulletin and valve on the issue. 100% confirmation from all parties that nothing illegal was done, which we already knew. bottom line we had the go ahead to take FA over to source and at the last minute caspar (original FA creator) backed out of support and decided to leave it up tot he current FA team. as you can imagine i am very pissed and upset. 4 months of work now for nothing.

those that think with an open mind and dont believe the crap the FA team feeds you ( and has been fedding you for years) will take the time to find out the truth. i can assure you all of this nothign illegal was done at all and nothing would have ever been done unless caspar gave permission for it over 4 months ago. that is why when caspar took away his approval i stopped any further development for FA source. even though i can still legally take the code over without his permission i will not do so. sorry to those who still enjoyed the forums but honestly this was going to happen no matter what. FA didnt die and nothign has really changed. the only thing is the FA forums no longer exist but i think most of us will agree thats not something will we miss.

So, if I read this correct, there will be no more FA: Source?
So, if I read this correct, there will be no more FA: Source?

for now, at least.

Thx Sgoss for your info. I do understand the whole 'affair' as the situation where some decided to go on source while the other directed towards WaW. Both sides claim they are right (I wonder why :p ) and both feel they were betrayed/ deserted (though by different people).

Small personal note: I did learn one more thing during my studies. If you want to be respected by others, never ever use argumentum ad personam. If you are using it there's no discussion but :peace: and it leads nowhere. Both sides dug deeper in their trenches and the droppings fly left and right. Sometimes people from the outside are hit, too.

yeah i looked at it and went "WOAH!", then i went for a pee....

anyways, isnt the FI and JM teams combined to make a kinda FA Source?

Not FA Source, just Inucrsion, both mods were moving slowing so they merged.

Could you give a link? I'd like to see both sides opinions and I don't know the POP clan/forum page url :)

Thanks,

Well whatever happens, I always look forward to new games whether it's a game that has nothing to do with FA or a game that will be like FA or it's actually FA:S. :)

think i have spent 2 hours + reading that whole post... both sides were wrong. FA was gonna get screwed either way

I don't know you like so many seem to think they do or hold judgements by whatever in past. I'm still addicted to FA like many, who maybe have no choice from limited systems and funds. But my addictions are from team voice feeling more part of it reconing enemy whereabouts, trying to keep team organized defensively and offensively. Also I think it's the stats that keeps me coming back for more punishment. Can always work on stats of one kind or another, like k/d. You have my vote for keeping FA or something similar alive, or atleast public forum input for the sake of the many that can't run the newer more demanding games.

If well advertised to reach the appropriate audience, if determined "out there", anything possible. :) :)

Yeah me too G , My eyes hurt. For me it was like turning on the TV and watching a soap opera for the first time in my life. Either way both sides were passionate about this, so maybe we can eke out a few more months of FA. :)

And when the next best thing comes along, everyone will laugh this off.

I think that is the correct attitude. Enjoy the game while it lasts.
It might not be called firearms but that is exactly what it will be when we're done.
