November 24, 200519 yr I found this on the Battlefield 2 World Tourny Forums Rules of a clan that they say is a REALISM CLAN We should adopt rules 1 .... just for Gator and 2 LOL so nobody gets artilleried during a briefing. 1) saluting. when an officer enter or leaves a server you will send an in game message that reads *salute* (this salute is surrounded by astrisks and nothing else. 2) when first starting drills the squads will quickly form ranks on at a designated location in the main base. These ranks will form with two rows and be as long as needed for members. the squad leaders will appear out front and in the center of their respective "blocks"/Squads. 4) once squads are formed in ranks the senior NCO will call attention. each member of the formation will go eyes front with thier main weapon drawn and will not move until told so. the senior NCO will then address the senior officer saying that ranks are formed. 5) once officers formed the senior officer may call at ease. 6) all officers are to stand in a line parallel to the formed ranks with pistols drawn. 7) after the officers address the unit the senior officer will allow the squads to break up respectivly into squads. each squad will circle up around thier squad leader. if the squad is on foot, they will move to a departure point (ex: blackhawk, LAV, etc.), determine a driver/pilot if they are moving out in a vehical, and wait for the signal to depart. 9) The signal to depart to respective locations will be given by senior officer once all squad leaders have checked in that thier squads are ready for departure. if squads are flying aircraft then a altitude will be set to fly at. 10) any jets are to take off and await orders to either attack right away, or take up an overhead pattern until support is called for. 11) any action that is about to happen that will effect the squad is to be reported in quickly and efficiently. (ex: squad is ready for halo jump, squad is ready to attack *blank* base) this will give the officers more info on what is happening with all of the squads during combat. NEW TS RULES 1) no non necissary talking. (ex: "oh my god", "holy **** that is so unfair", "did you see that?", etc) 2) jokes will be kept to a minimum as will sarcasm when in TS as a unit or with with other clan allies/enemies. DEMERIT RULES 1) A demerit is given for officer disrespect or otherwise conduct unbecoming 2) after 5 demerits personnel are put on a 2 week probationary period in which they cannot take part in practices, scrims, or wars without the permission of Major Bogren and Captain Balas. 3) at the beggining of each month, personnel's tally wackers are whiped clean and they begin anew. 4) Demerits can only be handed out by Cpt. Balas and Maj. Bogren 5) a lower ranking Officer/NCO/Enlisted man may submit a demerit request to them at any time. 6) after 3 demerits the personnel in question is lowered to a rank determined by the Major and the Captain.

November 24, 200519 yr i was in a clan that used realsim and stuff like this. the salute andstuff it was ok. the punishments were like pushups and running across an entire map. we'd do shooting drills and movement drills across maps and stuff. we learned to march and about face and all that stuff. it could be cool but as cleatus said its just a game

November 24, 200519 yr About rule no. 4... what IF someone kneel down in front of an officer... would it be considered as a salute/ manifest of a respect like knights did in middleages or rather marriage proposal?

It's like the leaders using some kind of control fetish they have to make people do stuff that is basically pointless (push ups? In a game?) And when it comes to what a clan is really made for, matchs, all that is just useless time wasters

November 24, 200519 yr exactly, I spent 5 years in the Air Force before my medical discharge, quite frankly, I could give a rats butt about all that garbage in a video game...how about the officers come kneel in front of me a polish something other than my boots... and just HOW do you do pushups in a video game? and does it serve the same purpose as pushups in RL? I dont see some overweight basement living whatever sitting in his basement getting buff because he had to do some ingame pushups...
