1 and 2 are fine, but wow...the whole formation thing is absolutely ridiculous.

 

I can't even believe I read all those without bursting out laughing!

 

It's a game, and "realism" can be acheived simply by teamplay and other various forms of communication. No need for ranks, commands like "At ease", or anything else. Let's just play the game, move on, and win.

 

But seriously...Some of those weren't that bad for ideas!

 

The aircraft one I completely agreed with--

 

Attack or hold formation until called upon for support.

 

Wonderful! I've actually been wondering about formations and if anyone used them--I think they are fantastic ideas.

 

Another thing is the commanding thing. The commander should INSTANTLY tell all squads where to attack. Not just have them all hunky-dory for the first 3 minutes of a round.

 

So...in essence, some of these are good ideas, but we have to keep in mind, people, this is simply a game. What do we do with games? Have fun...right.

i just laugh to myself and think of the fact that by the time they accually left their base... we'd own almost all the points, steal their chopper and jets, shoot their commander, and have them surrounded... i mean if they all meet up at the main base and dont leave till everyones checked in... um can u say cake walk... or better yet, Artillary? :o

His manifestos ran on for pages on pages without making more than two paragraphs this guy did a line by line.....no....no...
