There is a God

well AF was fun but not SF fun....much better faster paced gaming...i for one prefer in your face gunfire as opposed to 3000ft bombing runs :)
I see the af maps were taken of the rotation, was that an accident or is it just vanilla now? We should probably also consider going back to sf, im missing warlord a little.

Someone else did that, and I haven't a clue who. It wasn't me. I do suggest that we never run the two together again, as last night I witnessed our server go from 60 players to 27 payers after it changed to an AF map. Poof!

Yes i saw that too. We were going strong on mashur and it dropped heavily when it went to midnight sun. By the end of the second round we were back up to a good amount of people, but i dont think the server can go with just a few vanilla maps, maybe its time for some sf.

D:!

i just got 6 kills in one single bomb drop on BF2  .

i like bombing...

AF like its predecessor booster packs are nice for those who get it, but only for a short time. the luster wears off quick because they are not going to get as popular as Vanilla or SF. I too noticed that when the server was playing a vanilla map the server did get full I believe the same to be true for SF and they both stay that way till the wee hours of the mornings... I dont mind playing on other servers so if you guys wish to leave it as is its cool by me but it sure is nice coming to our server where i know its maintained and admined by people I know and trust...
Either way is fine for me, I do prefer SF because u get alot less bull like TKs and people waiting around for vehicles and such, it still happens but not near as to the extent of vanilla, also there is more ground pounders which is always fun. Not running into a tank everytime you turn a corner!!!!!that being said, I still enjoy vanilla and AF once in a while as a change of pace
me too....i think it got deleted again

Sorry, us 2 night owls, me and TigerHawk, don't know how to check superadmin stuff. Someone will though when they see message. :D

We had the same experience on the VSF server when we integrated Vanilla and EF maps. Obviously, not everyone buys the booster packs - when a booster map comes up, those that don't have it automatically get booted. The EF maps had to go! :D
