However, I'm growing tired of not playing with the Armory guys. I miss you all! I've been playing nothing but BF2:MC (Vanilla) and I love it--to death--and it seems that all you guys play BF2: SF! I've gotta say, I find BF2:MC to be an all-around better experience, both on a server level and on a personal level.

 

Regardless, it seems like TAC wants BF2:SF, so...I'll keep playin' solo, I guess. ;_;

You should check the more recent poll biscuit, alot of us are getting kinda tired of sf. Im always looking for something new to play

I want to play BF2: AF, but I'm not spending 10 dollars for it, ya know? I'd rather stick with mods that do something similar--if you get the map Steel_Thunder, it is similar to AF (lots of armor, light helos, et cetera).

I dunno where the more recent poll is, 'cuz I just look at this one and see, like, 20/50/5. I agree that the server stability for BF2:MC (Vanilla) is an issue, but I've played on servers for the whole of 3 hours and not had a single issue--at that point I grew tired of playing, 'cuz it was late. >.<

 

But, yeah, I play on a few servers now, 'cuz I'm growing more and more into city maps, such as Mashtuur (minus the vehicles...meh). I tried SF the other night, and it just wasn't right. I didn't like it too much--and I love Warlord!

 

I just miss playin' with the guys sometimes...most of the time...okay, a lot.

It's understandable what some expressed in this thread about boredom with same old same old. But because of EA ranking restrcitions to their maps, we don't have the multitudes of custom maps we enjoyed in past with FA that kept the play more interesting for many more.

Well we could do it with custom maps. But, the paid for server may see little use with those unless custom maps voted on well by many, maybe ? Just food for thought. Don't choke on it. I'm not that hungry lately. Except for Tiger meat.
