July 22, 200619 yr Is there a policy, rule or even a guideline within the Armory clan regarding switching teams? Just curious. Thanks.
July 22, 200619 yr No, there is no policy, although we like to encourage fairplay and a good time on the server we can't always guarantee that some players don't like to lose so they switch and the teams become substantialy uneven....i for one am not a big fan of this and half the time i take a break if its that bad
July 22, 200619 yr I'm generally against team switching, when the server has a lot of people its kind of hard to see whos going where. But we seem to have a problem with people switching teams before the game even starts which causes the first round or so to be pretty bad.

Makes it hard for an admin to control it also. Especially if that person joins a squad, it wont let you switch them back.
July 22, 200619 yr I think the admin should not have to regulate the teams, if you set it to auto balance you should be done, i like the randomization of teams after each round, but heres the issue for me when you are kicked off your own server rejoin and you are on the other team, try to swithed back and the server wont let you, this gets quite annoying after the 5th or 6th time a night, i would like to know who is regulating the teams?? is this just me that this is happening to??.
July 22, 200619 yr i am totally against team switching...we used to have a big fuss on VSF about team stacking until the randomize team option was utilized makes things much more fair and balanced, ensuing fun close games for everyone switching over to the better team is lame IMO, everyone should be able to take a beating once in a while...it builds character
July 22, 200619 yr Author Hey Joe, I had the "private" bug last night and was teamswitched by our server 4 times in 1 round. Every time I was in a squad and twice I was squad leader. All together I was switched between teams about a dozen times over several rounds. Oh, and throw in two server crashes and two computer crashes - it was VERY frustrating!
July 22, 200619 yr The thing is, sometimes when the teams do get very unbalanced, people can't be switched by the admin tool because they are in a squad as wolfey stated. So its hard not really being able to do much to fix it.

July 23, 200619 yr I do not believe in teamswitching to get a win for a round. NO NO NO!!! Another thing that bugs the hell out of me is when most of our clan is on one team. I don't think that is right/fair. I try to be on the team with the lessers of members on it, but like with switching sometimes it just doesn't allow it.
July 23, 200619 yr I definately don't agree on teamswitching if ur placed on a team u should be forced to stay with it. Even though we have randomization on VSF we still sometimes have to balance the teams out experience wise. Sometimes the randomization will stack the teams. The way i see it if the other team is getting pwned by more the 50 tickets some of the more experienced players should switch. This way everyone can get that close round we all like. Though that is just my opinion:D
July 23, 200619 yr I usually team switch in the beginning of a map if i'm on the USA to get a J-10 besides that I don't switch, unless i'm on a team with alot of 'winners'
