gj gator.I didn't look to much into it really. Just for the main fact that if they did it wouldn't have suprised me. Just another thing for EA to screw us with.
I really hope it is false considering all of the time and effort folks have put into playing BF2. If that were the case then I'm not sure I would give them anymore of my money. In a sense it would be intentionally ripping us off by ending support to a game that many have payed for and have actually purchased booster packs, etc. They would have suckered us in and then pulled the plug to make BF2142 the new cream of the crop for them. Sort of like forcing BF2142 to be popular instead of giving gamers a choice of what they want to play.
I'm sure after all of this is over we will still have an unranked server of BF2, FH2(if it comes out), or even PoE2 at VSF

I'm thinking we crank up a CS:S server and get some serious game on. At least with that game the "problems" were predictable.

We had some hella-fun playing that junk.

EA will shut down anything if they even think it isn't going their way. They did it with Earth and Beyond, pretty much just clunked it out of existance one day.

They can't realy do that (par-say) to BF2, but they can just forget about the "patches" (Quote and quote, patches...)

To be honest I wouldn't be suprised at all if EA pulled some kind of stunt like this, they have done it too many times in the past.

Yeah, but EA goes a bit past that, hah!

Just read what gator said, and that's good. I don't think EA is that stupid...
