September 26, 200619 yr i can look at, inturpret problems and see solutions... ways to make things simple, and ways to get things done easily with minimum fuss.. this is an essential in my line of work, puzzle solving, etc. i am good with all technology and pick new things up very quickly.. i am also a very good judge of character, rarely wrong after being able to watch someone, i can psycho analyse people and almost read what they are thinking and feeling by their actions and manerisms, and they way they speak, i can usually tell if there is something wrong with someone by the end of their hello if i know the person. i am -sadly- good at maniuplating people around to my way of thinking and to do what i am good at... when it comes to music, i am good at hearing, and repoducing simply, other peoces of music. if i can work at a peice of music instrument by instrument (such as in something like Nuendo) then i can put together some fantastic compositions, but i lack skill when it comes to reproducing those melodies one at a time. Similar elsewhere to JPennStar above.. with regards to the know a bit of everything and am good at what i do.
September 26, 200619 yr Author and JPenn i would seriously advise you look at psychology.. and more specifically at emotions, reproduction and supression of emotions etc... that is a fantastically interesting area, i am a member of a psychological research group in MRC in cambridge, they do tests every so often and i always come out thinking about changing my degree to psychology or criminal psychology.
September 26, 200619 yr Oh a boasting thread, fun  (hehe). Anyways.... I could say i'm pretty good at learning stuff fairly quickly. I guess usualy it's when it comes to games (and many times other .. things) but i'll usualy learn how to play/use it fairly fast. You could say i'm a decent artist, still learning . (what my field of study is). Other than that, i'm pretty decent with PC's as well. I might not know how to work inside one exceptionly well, but I usually can at least figure stuff out when the actual thing is on. Shotty, you forgot to talk about your skill with the banstick. J/K

September 26, 200619 yr Now there's a difference between bragging and telling other people about yourself much less thinking you're a better person than another. Yeah I know  .

September 27, 200619 yr I've always been pretty good with vocabulary - give me new words and I'll read their definitions over a few times and I'll have them both memorized within a short period of time. I'm a fairly decent writer. I've even started writing my first novel! It's going to take a LONG time to finish but hey, did Stephen King ever write a 700+ page novel over night? Didn't think so. I also love to write poetry and I can interpret it pretty well. I am VERY intuitive. I tend to trust my gut instinct on things and at least 90% of the time I'm always right. I also have the ability to "place myself in other people's shoes" in order to help understand other people better and why they may be acting the way they are in any given situation. I have a vast interest in Psychology - so much so that I'm proclaiming it as my major! Once I earn my Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts I'll be transfering to a 4-year university to work towards my BA in Psychology then towards a Master's degree in School Psychology. I want to work as a counselor with junior high students. The junior high school years are some of the toughest years of a young person's life so I want to be able to help them understand some of the challenges they are facing and will be facing with a brighter perspective. Of course being a guidance counselor involves much more than that but, I don't want to take up TOO much thread space. I also have a knack for appreciating music in all of its forms. I've played the clarinet for 12 years, I'm a self-taught pianist(been playin for about...9 years now). I even played the oboe when I was in 6th grade and I picked it up again in 11th grade. I'm a band geek - band geeks rule! Okay, that's as much "boasting" from me as you're gonna get. I'm usually pretty modest about stuff I'm "good" at so you can thank my being overtired and wanting to deter away from English Lit. homework for telling you a little more about myself.
