Considering I get "Lost COnnection to EA Main Server" a LOT I don't think I can vote very high. They should have been ready for the server load, no excuses.

At 30 feet I can unload a whole clip/magazine and just barely kill one guy. What happens when there are two? You should be able to kill at least 2 guys with on clip.

Titan mode I can't play because of the terrible lag but that is my own problem because of my hardware being outdated. Of course, it runs fine on regular mode but then most seem to love the Titan so that leaves me out.

I gave it a 7, I enjoy it and can run with everything cranked to max and 2x Antialiasing and it runs very smooth. Just would like to play more maps and I think a few things could be changed like the accuracy

I like the accuracy of the weapons and the vehicles are very fun. I like the pod launch and the battles on the titan! (although a bit laggy)

 

Overall, looking foward to the release and the new maps.

Well, for the demo, I gave it an "8". I played the Beta and gave it a "5", so the final product might beat all of our expectations. You won't know the full impact of the game until a few things happen...

 

- The full retail version is released

 

- You play on the many city maps

 

- Get Awards and Ranks

 

- Get Unlocks and new toys

 

- Play on "The Armory" server where we know we will have good performance :thumbsup:

 

- Stab Klink and get his dog tags as many times as humanly possible. I think everyone in the clan should own a pair his Dog Tags

We should have a new vote after everyone gets at least 10 hours of play under their belt.

I agree with klink. The weapons didn't feel all that accurate. Yes, they are more accurate then they were in the beta. So lets hope they improve even more when the full version is released.

 

The big thing with me is that the action, while it can be good, it just takes awhile to get there at times. It feels a lot like reg BF2. As far as that goes. Smaller maps are what I like.

 

Another thing is the control setup up. It might be just me I don't know, but i'm not really like the control scheme. I set my controls for one kit, and when I switch to another it has to be entirely different. The mouse button that switch between full/single, now gives me a damn veichle repair thing. Some kits have 4 slots in them others have 5. Making so your/my control setup for one kit works well but will piss you off when you switch to another kit. Now I don't know if they did this on purpose or what. I wish they would have made it more universal. They have made a small improvement with it though. It asks you if you would like to remove the key a button is already bound to when you want to bind it another key.

 

They does seem to run better then BF2. Granted that could be due to the fact that i'm at a lower resoluation as well. I thought new games were going to be supporting more resolutions for people that like to play at very high resolutions. I guess EA likes to go backwards and not support the most commonly used resolution for games as well as native resolution for monitors. Next game they come out with probably won't support 1024x768, and you will be playing at 800x600. Just like the good old Diablo 2 days.

i wasn't at all impressed,i hate every single kit the guns all suck (imo)i have no idea how to set up for flying but right now my setting's make me do crashing back flip every time.

Towards the 3 or 4 th map i kinda understand the jist of it all,but as i said i hate every weapon,and at this point this game is not very fun to me at all.

i'd much perfer bf2/sf to this one as of right now that is.

I give it a 7 cause like klink said i gets kinda anoying when u keep getting lost connection. Also at lower graphics it looks like crap lol. but the game play is alot of fun. :thumbsup:

thats because you have no unlocks, this isn't like bf2 where you are fine using the default kits. In 2142 you cannot use what comes out of the box. It takes more effort to customize a kit that works for you. Did you play the beta? if you did you would like it better.

I love it, gave it a 9 only because kinda sucks that nades are an unlock and in the demo can't have them,We had to beat the other team by using the silos. >.< one support guy and two assaults with there meds down and ammo pack down... so freaking hard to get pass when defending the titan..

 

Idk I feel the start kits good enough really for all, love how the light armor doesn't seem that bad and eveyone else around u get tired fast and you just go up and knife them or run around in circles because they went prone.

yes i did play the beta but not very much.so i never got a feel for it then either.

I give it a nine. I love the demo and now I'm looking forward to the game even more than before. The only thing that kept this from a 10 from me was the unlocks. They had them in the beta and it was pretty sweet...gave you an insight of what you would want when the game launched so you didn't spend your time getting the crappier ones from the get-go. I found myself in numerous instances where I needed either my Demo-packs, Frags, or the AED-6...other than that I think it's rock solid.

i rated it a 7 because of the lack of wepons right off the bat but so far i think the gameplay is awsome and i like the titan mode and i think the walking mechs need a little bit of work to.

i agree with null the mechs do need some work i'd give the demo a 7 and i'll wait to see what the full version is like.

When I fired up the demo on my new sweeta** pc, I was completely blown away by the graphics. I was able to play with high detail for everything with no lag. I was getting 75-88 fps I've never seen such great frame rates. I'm pleased with how I'm able to play the game with no problems. It's an awesome feeling. I'm able to get kills with one shot of the sniper rifle, even at long distances, where as before it would take almost an entire clip. I really like the demo since I didn't get to try the beta. I'm looking forward to the full game. I haven't tried the titan mode yet but I think I won't have a problem with it either. Looking forward to playing with you guys on the future battlefield

I gave it 10 because it gave such good fps for such little pc. Same if not better then BF2 gives now.

 

I hope that doesn't drop much like BF2 did with each subsequent patch.

 

Also because of the Mech versatility in water and hills running endlessly. As well as great decoys if you wait hidden nearby for enemy approach.

 

As well as the support gun zoom, cool.

I finally played a(n) hour worth last night. It was kinda weird though I could fly a transport vehicle with no problems but if I were to get out and go around on foot my framerate would be real choppy???

Im Jiggy with it i think the real game will be more fun, amd hoprfully onr can stay connected to the server master.

oh and one more thing, when i go to input my controls for aircraft, the accelerate and decelerate dont stay to what i binded them to D:

Well, I only played for about a half hour. I couldn't hit anything with the weapons. But, I didn't know what I was doing anyways. It's going to take some getting used to, as with any new game. I wont vote yet, cuz I havent played it enough. My biggest fear is Impact coming up behind me and stabbing me.

i'd now choose a 6 or 7 now that i've played the game more and seen what's what.it really is a lot of fun.I can't wait to see how the awards and new gun's are gonna be like.should be a fun game for us all.
