The Armory server will be up and running on Wednesday the 18th, and we are already planning the Armory server setup.

The map cycle is very important, so we need to make a few decisions here. We will be able to run both Titan and Conquest modes on "some maps", so I was thinking we should run all maps and modes for the first day, so we can find out what maps are good and what maps are stinkers.

Conquest Mode Maps

Sidi Power Plant

Tunis Harbor

Shuhia Taiba

Suez Canal

Camp Gibraltar

Cerbre Landing

Belgrade

Verdun

Minsk

Fall of Berlin

Titan Mode Maps

Your thoughts?

I say take out the maps that were in the beta and demo.

ya for at least the first week or so no more power plant

Ya, drop Sidi and for the first week or so watch other BUSY servers and see what's what.

Titan mode doesn't run well for me so I have no input on that because I probably will sit it out anyway. Actually, my input will be please don't do 3 Titans in a row LOL.

I definitely say try all of them for a bit. My main complaint with BF2 was always being stuck on Warlord.
sueze canal and fall of berlin looked cool from the previews, but on the first day I say we try all of them (except the demo/beta maps) so we know if there are any that we can eliminate.

I lag like crazy inside the titans as well, but you don't really have to fight there even in titan mode. You can keep fighting for the missile launchers while the faster PC using people do the work upstairs :D

I think its gonna be a case of watchin the server population over a week or so rather than one day to see which maps people stay on, and which maps clear out the server..

bear in mind that there will also be alot of people who didnt play the demo, and who werent in beta playing this game as well so itll take a little while to get spready out... maybe 2 weeks even but dont make any hastey decisions just yet.. wait for people tog et the game, look at what servers are always full and what maps they are running and adjust accordingly./

2 to 1 or 3 to 1 conquest vs titan.

Titan is fun and many people might want to play just that so we will have to see what draws the crowd and what clears the server as we noticed before.

I say a 2 to 1 Conquest vs Titan would be good...but I wouldn't mind seeing 2 and 2 because I'm a huge Titan mode fan...but thats just me. Also keep an eye on other popular servers...what maps and game types fit best.
Fatty is right I played mostly on the ground for Titan just to protect missiles and it was O.K. but missed the action upstairs. I can handle that for a round no problem.
I think our best bet would be to keep our current game plan. Most people play for points for unlocks, ranks etc. Which ever maps offer the most action be it tien or conquest i think we should go with those.

Sounds good to me. I like a mix. Variety is the spice of life. :D

I tired both modes, I do enjoy conquest more so than titian maybe because I found the titan mode just took longer for the round to finish when there isn't that many people playing. And commanding in Titan mode isn't as fun as in conquest mode :D
