January 2, 200719 yr Although I'm not quite a clan member yet, I'd be interested in playing Sat night. Just need a time and server. I spent New Year's weekend with the baby since the wife was recovering from surgery. She promised me 6 hours of game time Saturday. If not, that's cool. I still plan on playing on the servers (whichever one is available).

January 3, 200719 yr Alright...we have agreed to Saturday 1/6, Armory to host, two rounds conquest, two rounds titan with team switch in between rounds and most importantly, this is for FUN. If you're coming to be all serious and get mad if you get shanked 4 times or run over, etc., stay home. No whining/complaining. Still needed: Map preferences - Personally, for conquest I'd recommend a fairly even map. I think Belgrade and Tunis Harbor are the most balanced. What do you guys think? For Titan mode, I don't play it much so don't really have any recommendations. What do you guys think? Number of players - TBD. I'll see if I can push this along on the VSF side. Time - TBD. 8, 9, 10 pm Central? Too late? Too early? Groundrules - IMO, exploits should be a no-no. No wall glitching, pod flying...stuff of that nature. Suicide RDX (airships/ground vehicles) - OK, not OK? Bunny-hopping? I don't know if the crouch-prone spamming hax works in 2142 like it did for BF2. Anything else? Questions: Can it be set up so we can do the spectator mode? I think this requires the server to be unranked but I'm not sure. Will it be recorded? You guys run the Battlerecorder on your server, correct?
January 3, 200719 yr I'm sure we can turn battlerecorder on for the event, we don't keep it on regularly because of performance issues. About the rules, I liked the idea that Gator threw out, NO pod glitches but everything else is fair game. Some of the members in our community also inquired about spectating, I'm not sure what effect that has on server peformance, but it's probably something that we can look into.
