January 10, 200719 yr I was playing on the Armory Titan server. I had a squad of 6 people that actually listened to the orders I was giving. We acted like a team and even though we didn't have a single silo left at the end, we won! The fight for the silos was fun but pretty boring. It wasn't until both shields were down that it got interesting. Taking their consoles was easy. They never mounted a good defense on them. We kept bumrushing their core until there was only one guy with an HMG in there. I managed to use active camo to sneak by on the other side of him and blow the core right out from under them! What an exciting game. January 10, 200719 yr hey thats not bad dude....now let me come in the server and rearrange some of those numbers for you :thumbsup: strider: the away bonus is a few extra points in your score of your first round back if you don't play for some time, 48 hours i think it is.....its only like 20 points or somthin....i personally have not had one yet

January 10, 200719 yr I think the away bonus feature has gone a little bit haywire. I've been getting away bonuses every round ranging in amount from 5 to 50 points. I know they were giving out extra during the holidays, but this is a bit overdue.
January 10, 200719 yr You noticed that too? I've been playing a little every day all week and those away bonuses just won't stop coming! I know that you can "accumilate" the points and you slowly spend the stockpile of points you've built up from the time you've been away... but surely I should of spent all my points from my couple days away by now...
January 10, 200719 yr Hey I remember that from last night! That was a blast. We were losing and then their shield came down. I had a squad with only one guy and decided to take a transport from the ground to their titan and found no one there. I blew one of the consoles and then someone else was waiting upstairs and blew the other console then they found out and killed us. Then I came back as they were blowing the other console and this time I was waiting upstairs and blew the other console and we were in. In a matter of seconds we had them at 50% hull when they finally somewhat regained their titan. There was mayhem on their titan I loved it! :thumbsup:

January 10, 200719 yr Hey I've been wondering, what the heck is the away bonus any way? As I recall, the away bonus is applicable when a player has been away from the game MORE hours than their total hours played. For example, I was off for about 10 days recently or 240 hours. My total time in game is roughly 100 hours so when I started playing again I got the away bonus. As for how much it is, there's a calc in the game that shows it to be 50% of your game score (not career points). Additionally, DICE posted the following: Greetings soldiers, We hope you all have had great winter holidays and wish you all the best for the new year! As your soldier has rested and regained strength during Christmas, you will find that as of January 5 you will have additional away bonus, corresponding to a weeks rest. This means that you will have a score boost lasting for a few hours the next time that you play Battlefield 2142. The away bonus is added to all soldier accounts, independent of how much you have played the game during the holidays. Welcome back to the battlefield! January 10, 200719 yr yeah i played a game like that, we both took the titan shields down, and had all but the lsat console (4 i think) on each titan,, in the end it was left to 2 guys on the ground takin the silo's and it came down to 1 silo and 1 missile in the end.. awsome game,
