Game, America's Army?

Has anyone played it? I talked to a guy who plays it he says its fun. Told me I should play it. Just curious to find out some feelings, opinions, ideas on the game.

Thank you, that is all.

Its pretty decent, nothing to move the clan into, its a good FPS to go to when everything else is feeling a bit too old. However you have to go through different aspects of boot camp to really enjoy the benifits of multiplayer.

PS. Love the avatar :(

I didn't think it was worth the time it took to download it, tried it and didn't enjoy it. It's not horrible considering its free, but it's not something I would pay for.

I've played it. Finished all courses (including SF), but my gaming experience was shattered, when new version came out and demands rocketed over my computer specs.

I was god with RPK... i was accused of cheating several times :(

Overall it is a good game, although when there is a person on one team that knows it by heart (and knows where to aim his M203), then it is getting pretty much boring - unless the guy is dead by accident, the game gets one-sided.

for free its pretty good. When doing the training portion the better you are unlocks different things. Such as if you score high at the rifle range you can get sniper school allowing you the use of the sniper rifle. Not sure if that has changed been a while since I played. One thing that I didnt like was that when you were killed you were out of the round similar to counter Strike except the rounds seemed to be a lot longer so there was a lot of waiting as far as I was concerned. Again all of this could have changed.
Yeah the only thing bad about AA is that it's round based like counter strike and the rounds are anywhere from 8-10 min long, except for the SF maps which are like 2-3 min long. It's very different from most FPS's.
The game was actually created by the Army as a recruiting tool and is supposedly the most realistic FPS out there. Because its free, alot of LAN game it. Never tried it myself.

-Shrug.- I play it daily. >>;

It'd be nice to stop playing alone. Personally, I love it, but it does have some problems.

9/10, no doubt.
