May 6, 200718 yr I like variety. I like the city map server, but after a while I get bored and go looking for NS or Titans. Having one dedicated server, and one Swiss Army knife (NS/TITAN/CONQUEST) server makes sense to me.
May 6, 200718 yr I think I started playing BF2142 when you guys were doing Titan/Conquest server. I'd try that again as long as it was a rotation like that. I actually have been playing BF2142 less since Armory dropped the Titan server It is fun playing it at BOC but I enjoy playing with the Armory guys more. I really hope we get Titan 24/7 up, or at a minimum Titan/Conquest.
May 8, 200718 yr Other than the BSOD i keep getting when i play 2142 its fun alot more intense and u get to blow people up more. Not to mention its easier to knife people say ummm people like impact;) :eek:
May 9, 200718 yr Hey the Armory server is back up and it has been full almost every time I get on to play. I gained a level yesterday too woot. I am going out of town Monday for work and won't be back till mid-end of June. I will be back for Saturday and Sundays though. I hope that the server stays up though!

May 10, 200718 yr I'm sorry, but thats a bad idea. I personally hate NS, there is nothing new, fun, or innovative to it. I enjoy titan mode, it's fun and brings something new to the battlefield. I actually enjoyed it the way we had it when 2142 first launched, a city server and titan server. Now what we could do is have the city server and than have a conquest/titan server and drop NS all together. But that would be too perfect -I know this thread is a little old, but Sharp...the NS maps in a Titan/Large Conquest would just be more maps in the cycle. You may have confused it with assault lines, which should not be in said server...just Titan/Conquest with NS maps.

Nope, I'm sure of what I'm saying NS was a big waste of $10, I think the maps are un-original and boring. I actually have liked what we've done the past few days, city server and titan server full I don't like those conquest/ns whatever maps. I love it the way it is now.
May 10, 200718 yr I don't like those conquest/ns whatever maps. -But others do... -I recall quite a few of us having a blast on the conquest server. -Problem:For some of us, the same four or five city maps (that people still have no idea how to play) got very repetitive. Titan, though more enjoyable in my opinion, gets stale fairly quick. -Solution: One server switching between titan and conquest (fairly randomly; not 1 conq, 1 titan, 1 conq).Given the size and game length of these style maps, one round per map would be great too.(I would gladly try to set up, and tweak, a good cycle of maps if you would like) On the same note having the NS maps would just expand the rotation, not add something flashy and new. I myself will try and monitor how many people drop, between the "to NS" map change and keep a log if need be. -In the end, I am just trying to make one server, that encompasses NS and vanilla, that is for the big map players and Engis that is as successful as the city maps has been.(so we can finaly stop changing up the server...that makes a huge dent in player count. -I know you outrank me by a mile and a half, and your opinion carries a little more weight (rightfully so), but I feel this is worth fighting for. -That is all I got Sharpy

If ns was so popular, why hasn't it been running in a few days and the titan only server has been? Thats all I'm trying to say, I think mixing titan and NS would be detrimental and would lower the player count. But whatever you guys want to do is fine. EDIT: Just noticed the servers were all combined together, have fun with it

Joe seemed to like it and Gator was willing to try, though I think he sides with you. What is the worst that can happen?...The server is a total flop. Our server was packed before we added them, now its empty. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

I don't even think it's the fact that people don't know how to read freefall(which believe me, they dont), NS just didn't have as big of an impact as some of the other booster/expansion packs did.

As long as it does not crash, I would be willing to bet it stays up for quite some time. -Thanks for the positive feedback.

May 11, 200718 yr I just played it too with conquest and that was fun! I never really played conquest. We had a map of titan, then a conquest map, then two more titan maps! PERFECT!!!
May 24, 200718 yr I like Titan mode a lot but it sure ups the death stat when I assault it all the time!
