July 2, 200718 yr Yea, I just closed it. Fileplanet is pretty poor. I wanted to check their site to see if mirrors have been posted but it can't handle all of the connections.

July 2, 200718 yr You also need to download HL2 Base SDK. Easiest way to install this is to select an Insurgency server, and it will promt you to intall the SDK. :thumbsup:

July 3, 200718 yr So how do you actually change classes? I know yo have to press "," but theres nothing that tells you what number corresponds to what. It's a little confusing.
July 3, 200718 yr It clearyl has its little problems, but as far as Hl2 mods go I put this at #1 well above anything else out right now. What they've done with the gameplay mechanics, and all the cool things about aiming/damage = total win. Absolutely impressed.
July 3, 200718 yr I got it off of fileplanet, only took 18min for my DL to start, not bad. The mod is awesome. It beats the hell out of AA, however i noticed that when you run into objects the movement gets a little funky. But i just had a funny and yet really cool moment in game where i was behind a car, saw someone and started shooting at them through the windows of the car when i kinda missed, hit the car and the ricochet from my own bullet killed a teammate that was behind me lol.
July 3, 200718 yr I'm a little surprised that they released it without making any type of interface for selecting squads/kits. It really does look like a beta thing, I guess I thought it would have a little more for being in development for 5 years. But all in all the game is pretty good, lots of teamwork. I just need to figure out how to chose something besides the shotgun and rpg
