Server Rules Question(s)

Featured Replies

I was on this morning and I know it scrolls about the pod exploits/surfing. What about High roofs from a normal beacon placement? Is this allowed - some are saying yes, others no (no Armory ppl on). I ask cause I noticed on every game WW_KROIL and his squad were always on the roof. He said it was normal beacon placement (which I understand), but then he moved the beacon to the rooftop. I then caught him pod surfing from Harbor to Ruins and then again to the buildings between Ruins and EUBASE. When confronted I get I get attitude.

Question is can the scroll on the screen come up more with the warnings and server rules? Just trying to make it fair for all.

we have had a large debate over the rooftop spawning and to be honest i'm not even sure we came to a final word on it.

However we do try to make things as fair as possible, but please understand to police every thing that everyone does is almost impossible. However thanks for your comments we will try to watch out for those sort of things.

roof tops are allowed as long as you don't have to pod surf to get there. If you see pod surfing or any other cheat/exploit and we are not around pls post the names so we can look out for them. thanks IZU
You are allowed up on top of the roofs as long as you didn't fly/move your drop pod to get up there. Although it's not too common, sometimes beacons can be placed so you can drop directly on the the building without having the move it. Our two main rules are regularly displayed in game; Please do not spawn exploit, and Be Nice or Be Gone! We ask players to respect each other in game and to watch what they say.

that is not against the rules
Occasionaly u get a beacon that will put u on a roof but most people as of lately that i have seen have been sploiting to get to the rooftops.
Just curious, more on the topic of the beacon podding itself, but wouldn't have DICE had to programmed the pod moving for it to work in the first place? Kinda seems odd that you'd be able to move the pod so easily when that wasn't even intended. ??? .

I think its just bad coding, you can pod out of an APC or titan and drive your pod and EA didnt spend enough time making sure you couldn't do the same thing on beacon drop.

Yeah, you are allowed to go on the roofs as long as you didn't pod exploit to get there

Personally, I think that going on the roofs should be banned because it's just plain unfair

And yeah pod exploiting definitely should have been taken out of the game a longggg time ago. I dont know how to do it, but i know how to move it 10 feet lol :(

I remember last oct/nov/dec when the game first came out, pod flying was insane. I know they settings can be changed on this for the exploit which i think i just cheap cause it shows that they cant really fight and take bases normally. In addition I have been on the roof after having a beacon placed by a building but I want to make sure I understand so if I see it in the future that changing the beacon from the side of the building to place it on top is not allowed right? I have seen this numerious times on Camp Gil. at EUBASE or RUINS.

Also want to be make a comment on Wall glitching as I seen someone trying it today on the Fall of Berlin map. I personally have seen this before and wanted to make sure it is not allowed = I am assuming correct? This is where you can get inside a building that has no doors or access but expoliting a glitch in the system.

I wasn't there so I wouldn't know... but, whenever I see you telling someone to stop being a "vosstard" or "shotgun whore"...or whatever you want them to stop doing....I always see it as a message in all big caps and usually insulting them in the end. Again, I'm not saying that I was there and I know how the whole thing went down. I'm just saying you usually say negative comments to people (so what I see) and in order to get the respect of what you want them to stop doing you have to show them the respect first :D

*gasp* you dont call me a shotgun whore secretly, do you?

Also i cant imagine him calling somebody a vosstard, he uses one :D :D

But yeah i do notice you starting kick-votes against people you dont like , i dont see the point in them, nobody ever gets voted out

No more whining about whores. For that matter no one else say whore, ever! :D
