Keep in mind that Doom 3 is going to be completely different style than the previous Doom titles.There is reloading.More monsters.Previous monsters have been update to look and act more "realistic."The entire style is going to be different.Mapping is COMPLETELY different, levels couldn't have rooms be stacked upon one another. You couldn't jump or look up/down either.Play the alpha leak and view the video they released.

My only guess is that it's a typo meant to be for "2".Either that or the game is coming out in like... 2.5 years.

I have and played an alpha-leak of Doom3. I have a 2.39 GHz, GeForce Ti 4600 and 512 MB RAM (I don't know the tech. specs. for the RAM.It ran very well, except when I put too many random light sources on the map. :shock: Oh... and my uncle ran it perfectly fine, and his computer is like... a full generation below mine... like 1.7, bad graphics card and probably 256 RAM (all random but close estimates.)P.S.: The leak had 3 levels and they weren't 100% finished. The file .rar file is 372,834 KB and the un-compressed is 1.08 GB (the entire game folder)

Here's a small grace from me to you: First off, I can't stand it when people base an entire band and/or their album upon ONE SONG. Yes, it is their work, and yes it is something they created. But... be rational. Second of all, you just don't know what you're talking about. Have you ever thought that people just get to be better musicians than just "people in a punk band." I mean... the only punk band I've ever actually heard that had alot of musical talent was... well... AFI... and maybe The Vandals... MAYBE. Yes, The Offspring are one of my favourite bands of ALL TIME, but they aren't the best musicians, not even close. Some punk is good... just not most of it. Back to my 2nd point. All bands aren't Limp Bizkit. All bands don't sell out just to please their fans. Maybe (and you are in this case) you're COMPLETELY backwards. Some bands CHANGE for themselves, not for the public. The definetion of selling out is so they can gain more fans for the sole reason of gaining more/alot of money. Note that I'm argueing about AFI in specific, not anyone else. Point #3. Read up before you make an opinion. If not for the fact of making an idoit of yourself when you state your opinion, then for the fact of just being a better and smarter person. Bottom line with the AFI comment, it's THEIR MUSIC, THEIR WAY. Either like it or dislike it, don't falsely accuse them of something as stupid as selling out. The installer is a jerk/idiot.Everytime I DL it and run the .zip or .exe or whatever it is you DL, it runs the Soldat extractor, not the AA extractor... stupid AA.See... the Polish are trying to take over America!

I it depends on my mood, but I usually take a clay, a couple of grenades,a secondary, and a primary, and then configure my armor to the remaining credits.My favorites that I've played are... sterling,1911,frag.m-16a2,1911,frag.ak74, 1911, frag.(I changed to a 92f after 2.7)M3, 92f, frag.ak47, 1911, frag.(I changed to a 92r or no sidearm after 2.7)93r, stg.And my new/current set up is M-16A2 with full heavy. :PI usually NEVER take bandages unless I have a free, single credit floating around, but that's usually never.I take Medic first.With the m-16 and ak47 I take nomeclature first and with my old m16 and ak74 set up, I took atry.

For point #1 you should add, "if you have any questions, the admins will help you." (or something)and I think you should add that you should throw grenades into the spot where the opposite team spawns (not the area or building, but that exact spot.)Just my opinion.

From what I've HEARD, Doom3 was optimized for ATI cards. :roll: Ha ha ha... it was very funny hearing this, because this was before the Readon 9000 series (the brand-ie new ones) and ATI's sucked.

I think I played it like.. the first week it was released. It was very fun. The only problem I had is that there was like 5 servers and over time it reduced to like 3. Then I started to get more into FA, then I was invited into FA... then I just forgot about it. :roll:
