I find it hard to believe that the Famas has the highest recoil amount for any AR. My main gripe is the fact that the Famas can effectively kill at medium range on full auto like no other AR or SMG. exactly, even if it has the highest recoil it doesn't seem like it. At medium range I can put my crosshair on their head, burst 10 -15 shots, and I have a kill. Like I said before I think the famas is pretty well balanced in a full game where reloading gets you killed but in a 1 on 1 fight I'd take the famas anyday. I agree with sgoss that good famas players can own with any gun but I doubt those same people can have the huge k/d ratio and kpm they have when using some other gun. The ak-74 and m4 are both great but if I turn a corner and run into a good player using a famas I'm going down. All things being said, the famas doesn't bother me, but the m82 just pisses me off.

First of all the m82 is the most unbalanced gun. giving it close to 100% accuracy while crouching is just plain stupid. For christ's sake the gun weighs 30 pounds... (my comments on the famas are said as though the m82 isn't in the game)In 2.8 the m82 was perfect. When you were advancing you were at a big disadvantage but when you stopped and got the bipod down you were almost unstoppable.In 2.9 the m82 can even own a famas in cqb, It happens all the time even to good players. The 2 shot kill combined with the "stop and shoot move" makes it to good.Also, no one good even uses the bipod anymore because its easier to just move around and crouch shoot. The m82 is not ment for this kind of play.On Caen I practiced with the m82 and ended up with a score of like 50 and 10 and I didn't use the scope once.-----------------------------------------------------------Now the famas:the famas is the easiest gun to go 1:1 with. In a 1 on 1 game the best gun is the famas by FAR! Being able to shoot 25 rifle rounds extremely fast allows the user to burst the famas and then reposition.Like SS6 said the key to the famas is midrange combat on full auto. Fire 10-15 shots, reposition, then finish off the target.In FA movement is key and the famas's high ROF makes it very easy to shoot and move.However, in games with 10 or more people I think the famas is pretty even. The M4, for instance, is an awesome gun. The m4 with nomen and marks1 or marks 2 is just as good as the famas.The m4 with nomen is easy to use, you just have to remember you don't want to go head on with a famas.

yeah, hayabusa.congrats to the Red Sox.I just wish we could have seen better play. I think the sox had 5 errors in two games and the Cardinals couldn't get 1 win.Oh well, I actually enjoyed the NL and AL championship series more than the World Series.

oh yeah,My senior year I wrote a paper on music piracy. In it I defended the music industry.Piracy is wrong, illegal, and so on...However, with technology increasing everyday its going to become harder and harder to stop piracy.When I was gathering info for my paper I came across Bills that were being addressed in Congress.From what I read it sounded like it will eventually be "anything goes" because of the simple fact that there is NO WAY to prosecute everyone in violation of the law.I would expect PC spoftware to coincide with the same laws.But then again, I might just be cracked out!

Believe me, I am fully aware of how the business works.I myself, have no sympathy for them. Especially HL2(Sierra), I mean they had contracts with vid card companies which in mind obligated them to release the game ASAP.

Those companies just need to release the game when its finished and stop jacking around.HL2 has been "finished" for god knows how long, no wonder people inside the company "leak" the games.I find it hard to believe that all those games were stolen without help from the inside.I don't own any of those companies or controll any of their decision making but it makes no sense to hold back a game for months at a time only because of some small bug.Even highly tested RCs that were thought to be perfect have bugs and end up being patched in a few days.HL2 isn't even that great of a game anymore, games like S.T.A.L.K.E.R., FarCry(and its mods) and BF2 already look just as good or better.Video games have a shelf life and these companies are allowing them to expire before they even reach stores...I personally have absolutely NO sympathy for them!

The stats don't make sense.People that spawn really fast get 2-3 easy caps at the begining of each map.Not to mention the fact that anyone can go suicidal to cap a point. I mean you can argue it gets reins but the other team will just cap it right back and negate the reins gained.I think stats should pay more attention to medics, the final cap of a map, and overall k/d and kpm.I used to cap alot to make #1 but I it just seems pointless...
